Ireland 100lbs + to lose?

Is there anyone else from N Ireland around? Im 28 and really wanting to stick to my diet (this time!!), and am over-the-moon that I discovered this site, seems really good!
Well I've a longggg way to go, but gotta start somewhere eh? My first goal is to lose around 50-60lbs before I go on hols at Christmas, so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!!
Anyone else in the same kinda boat?

Hi Kate, I'm from Armagh! I have 18lbs to go to goal, but have lost 98lbs before (it was a while ago, and marriage & kids made me gain back 40-odd lbs!) THis site is great- very motivational! I don't use the food log on here though, as most UK foods aren't there (I use a uk based one to log), but I love the weight log, seeing the lines (mostly) go down, and learning about monthly fluctuations? I have a few health issues and have found people on here who've given advice that has really helped?
Anyway, welcome to the Club!
Hey, I'm not in Ireland but I have around the same amount to lose. I'm at around 202, 5'5", and 25 with a goal weight of 132 for now... I'd kinda like to lose more than that, but that's the weight the site has given me so I'll go with it for now.

www.foodfocus.co.uk You enter your weight, your goal weight, how much you want to lose a week and it works out your daily cal intake & a goal date for you (which changes every time you update your body log). Plus its free! You can also enter meals you eat regularly so you don't have to enter each ingredient in the meal all the time, and you can also enter favourite foods so you can easily find them to log. I find it easy to use? It's nice to see the graphs of your cal intake, weight, fat/carb/protein etc.
