This just isn't happening
So after a weeks holiday (when I was being rele good) and a mkonth at my new gym, going 3/4 times a week I have put half a stone on. nope- not pregnant.
I must be doin somehtin wrong but right now I'm so disheartened to even think bout it
What, exactly, are you eating and doing at the gym. Give some specifics, and I'm sure someone will critique your plan or help find a reason for the increase.
At the gym I average 60 mins of cardio. On an average day I don't eat breakfast. Have whatever is on offer at the canteen at work and then a light snack for tea as I'm not hungry. I haven't been counting calories for a while but have started again today. I have just moved in with 2 people I don't know and started my first real job.
Any advice welcomed- thank you
Breakfast is SO important!
Also, you must eat more than 2 times a day, don't you? You might not be getting ENOUGH calories if not.
Um...you're definitely not eating anywhere even close to enough. Eat more.

Even assuming your diet was on target, (and I'm not sure that it is) there's a whole lot of stress there. That's going to drive weight loss haywire.
yeah I'm feelin very very stressed- not settling in well at home. also, the job is a years placment before I go back to university for my last year and I'm startin to feel down that my life is prob gonna be spent in an office.
Also, thuinkin bout it I have been drinkin a lot more coffee and snackin a bit (not too much but I thought it;d be ok cos I'm not rele eatin much at the mo). On holiday I was happy and relaxed with my family so ate well. Maybe things will settle. Half a stone just seems so much
Have you been drinking any alcohol? Even if you're not eating enough, when you're stressed you might be apt to have an extra drink to relax and that would definitely add more calories!
i remember when i thought starving myself was the way to go, i felt all depressed and everything just seemed not right. people are moody when hungry!![]()
also, breakfast boosts your metabolism, so it is a must.
not eating enough also makes you bloated, and the gasses inside your stomach may actually cause your ffod to digest slower, therefore, you gain weight.
what im trying to say is, eat more!!!
and, drinking is bad, as tjk75 said, BUT!, wine has somekind of doohickey in it that boosts your metabolism while you sleep, (which means you'll loose more weight)
that's all i have to say, other than GOOD LUCK!...and eat more ![]()
