Recipe Ingredients for Italian sausage and spinach casserole

12 oz Sausage, Italian, Pork, Cooked
1 cup Onions
7 oz Roasted Red Peppers, Jarred
10 oz Frozen Spinach
1 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
2 oz Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 tbsp, leaves Basil, Dried
0.5 tsp Salt
8 large Egg, Whole
2 cup Cream, Fluid, Half And Half

Recipe Directions for Italian sausage and spinach casserole

Cook sausage and onions in a medium skillet until sausage is evenly brown; drain. Transfer to a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 of red peppers and all of the spinach. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, parmesan cheese, basil and salt. Combine eggs and milk; add to dry ingredients and mix well. Pour over spinach mixture. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cover and bake 45 to 60 minutes. Uncover and reduce temperature to 300. Bake for another 15 minutes or until set. Sprinkle with provolone cheese and red peppers. Bake until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
