Italian-Style Green Beans Recipe

Submitted by kaiahzmahm

Makes 6 servings

I didn't add it here, but you could top this with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and just let it melt before serving.

Ingredients
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
16 oz green beans, frozen
15 oz tomatoes, Italian-style, diced, drained
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions
  1. Spray a large nonstick skillet with PAM and place on medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is crisp-tender.

  2. Add beans, tomatoes and seasonings; mix lightly. Cover. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 8 minutes or until beans are tender and mixture is heated through.
