I have an itch. Any help with scratching it please?
Ok, so I have this urge to cook something. I really want to bake something, but any cooking will make me happy :)
The problem is, I'm at my grandparents' house and they have practically NOTHING to cook with... at my house we're always stocked with ingredients (LOVE to cook), but my grandparents eat almost all processed foods... So we have:
- Canteloupe
- All-purpose white flour
- Sugar (white/granulated brown)
- Chocolate chips
- Dried fruit
- Etc. along those lines
We DON'T have:
- Yeast
- A bread maker
- Bananas :(
- Wheat flour
- Other healthy ingredients... possibly including yogurt
I'm at a loss of what I can cook... any ideas please? I don't care too much about how healthy it is (although I don't like things with a lot of butter in them), seeing as Fridays are my cheat days and I'm not hungry anyway. I'm really just itching to cook something.
So - help please! Thanks, Kathryn :)
Can you make chocolate chip cookies? They are pretty much flour, sugar, butter and baking powder. Recipe should be on the bag...or look it up online.
Serve it along with some nice slices of canteloupe.
Any oatmeal, honey, almonds? You could make granola. Its very easy and yummy!!!! You could use the dried fruit in it.
