If you are still hungry, maybe you need to eat more protein, so you are full longer. Also, muscle weighs more than fat.

Hm… I'm sure you already have, but just to be sure: have you been measuring inches around your waistline as well? Weight can only tell you so much; maybe water retention and/or you're not getting enough fiber (seriously, if you're not drinking enough or aren’t "regular" enough, that'll add a bit to the scale) could be the reason. OR you could be gaining muscle — which of course is heavier than fat.

Oh yeah, and as for still being hungry: lots of protien, fiber-rich foods and complex carbs will fill you up!

Don't measure your success on weight, that is a horrible ide for someone who excersizes regurlary!  Your body is just evening out!  Your doing quite well it sounds, since muscle weighs more then fat, your building some healthy muscle on ya.  The more muscle the more cal you burn, right now your body is loosing fat but gaining muscle, once your body slows down on the muscle gaining (gets adapted to the level of excersize your doing( the muscle you have built will destroy any fat you have remaining.  Go based off of measuerments.  Measure your hips, waist, neck, arms, calfs and thies.  Add up the total of all the measurements, then in a week, measure them all again, the difference is what you should be going off of :-D  I hope this helps.  One of my buddies is going threw the same thing, but he has lost like 8 inches total. Keep up the good work!

i can only back up what the other guys have said, don't depend on the scales too much, muscle is much heavier than fat but looks much better.

12 months ago i was in the best shape of my life, i'd that what im aiming to get back to.

However back them i was a whopping 12lb heavier than i am now because it was all muscle (im a proffessional poledancer) however after a rather nasty injury all my muscle has turned to flab ...

My route to fitness involved first burning off the flab (which involved some dieting and ALots and lots of exercise to convert back to muscle what i don't lose) then building up the muscle.

I am not surpirsed you are putting weight on...

Your deficit is over 1000.

This in your case seems to be causing your body to hold onto anything you eat in a desperate attempt to keep you alive and functioning.

You will probably notice your weight drop after a few days of stuffing your face.
