I had a really bad weekend for eating and I can't seem to get back into the swing of things. Can anyone suggest some things that will keep me full...I'm binging during the evenings and craving sweets and salty stuff like crazy :( I'm gaining back all the weight I lost ...help
i know bad weekends can put you in a bad mood and get you feeling really pessimistic, but if you think "i already did that, but now i can eat healthier and start from here" it really helps. you can't change the past, and the only thing you can do is eat better in the future!
Triscuits are very filling for me, probably because of the shreadded whole grain and hit the salty spot.
Thanks, I really appreciate all your support. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a better day! :)
Sweet...chocolate nips are carmel/chocolate hard candies that are only about thirty calories each. They last pretty well, and can usually get me past tough craving times. (Please note sugar content. these are treats and by no means low fat, sugar free or healthy).
Starving...Progresso soup. A whole can (2 servings) of several of the simple chicken and or vegetable varieties are under 200 calories and actually quite filling. (watch the crackers though...20 to 30 of the tiny oyster crackers have about the same amount of calories as the can of soup. It makes more sense to have more soup)!
Cold ice water at all times...It seems to help curb some of my more difficult cravings... Good luck!
when i feel really hungry I down a big glass of water!! it fills me up for a while, I also love the mini bags of popcorn
I know what you mean. I've fallen off a few times too. What got me back on was writing a journal, keeping my weight and calories on a calander, and talking to people who encouraged me to keep going!
And try to remember that food isnt that important. I still let myself have snacks but i they are small...and i eat s-l-o-w-l-y. that way i can enjoy what little i have.
