Your muscle tissue swells when worked, and the swelling is from fluid/water. It's a normal part of the healing/strengthening process. The fluid flushes out on its own. Just stick with a healthy diet, exercise as you can, keep the deficit under 1000, and you will lose weight.
Good luck.
Wow, 73 minutes! That's bound to give your muscles a jolt, and they have to recover, from what I understand, from adding back the glycogen and water.
Every time I exercise I see a gain. I don't worry about it because I know I've done something good for myself, it's my muscles adjusting, and it will all balance out. Don't forget that body measurements are just as good (or better) than scales when it comes to keeping with an exercise routine!

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
