I was at 205 in December, I am now at 174.  I just cut down on my "down-time" food, the stuff I eat cuz I'm bored.  Have been staying away from fast-food places, and I made the goal to run a marathon.  I don't plan on doing it any time in the near future, but I am "training" for one, I just ran 4.18 miles today.

Congrats!  I'm starting right behind you.  Started at 206... can't wait to get to 174!  :P

I can't even run a mile (or probably even a quarter of a mile), but it's nice to think that if I keep exercising that I'll be able to run someday.

Can you give us a sample day in the life?  Like what do you eat, how many cals, what's your exercise like, how do you stay motivated, things like that?
GOOD WORK staying motivated. I started at 235 and am now 165 I have 10 pounds to go before my BMI is normal I have been struggling with my weight forever. So keep up the good work.

Well first of all congrats!!!! GOOD WORK.. I kind off have the same stats as you guys do started at 5'5, 21,  200 now at 182  well my question is does anyone have loose skin or having trouble loosing inches off the their mid section cause I am having trouble with that. As far as the loose skin I want to know incase since we have the same stats

WOW! GREAT JOB!

I started at 204 and now i'm at 173. We are exactly in the same boat! Except you can run! 4.18 miles! WOW! I can only jog a quarter of a mile. Actually I really haven't tried to jog any further than that. I rotate between jogging and walking to keep my heart rate up. I have a back problem so running to much will hurt me. Let us know when you do the marathon. That will be huge!
Oh, I just saw that you wrote that last month. Your probably a little ahead of me now. I want to lose thirty more pounds. Whats your gaol?

Hi everybody!  I also have lost a little more 30 pounds.  I am in the Navy and contrary to what people may think there is not a lot of time to work out.  So I was struggling with losing pounds.  My HM1 told me about this website and I registered as soon I  went home.  I didn't believe in this calorie counting idea, boy was I wrong.  That first week I lost like 4lbs.  That was enough to motivate me.  I became a calorie count believer.  I was weighing 247 lbs and now I weigh 213.   Not bad  huh?  Keep motivated, keep strong and keep counting!!
