Jackson Death A Homicide: TMZ

Quote  |  Reply

The celebrity website TMZ says the Los Angeles Police Department has classified Michael Jackson's death as a homicide and is focusing on Conrad Murray, one of the singer's doctors. TMZ was the first to report on Jackson's death last month.

Well if it's true, how the heck is TMZ out of all the media outlets getting so much information before everyone else?

Agreed - but I thought it was interesting.  I don't put too much faith in what TMZ reports until it is verified by credible sources.

In a way it makes sense. Because after MJ's death everything he ever made one disc was sold out including his assets. Somone may have believed that he could profit from his death, and if so they're trying to cover it up.

They also don't bother with time-consuming stuff like 'fact-checking'.

right... but then they wouldnt be first.

Conrad Murray?  And my money was on Prince Phillip, on the grassy knoll with the lead piping....  Darn...

Joe and LaToya Jackson also think the same thing, but we know they're just as reputable as TMZ. Undecided I'll wait for something offical, a statement made by someone important. "Sources say" means nothing to me.

I wish the media would let Michael Jackson rest in peace. :(

Even if it was being treated as homicide nothing will be announced to the public until it is confirmed. No one even knows the cause of death, as far as I know.

Leave him alone...

Sounds more like medical malpractice and completely agree that the media is spending much more time on this than the public really wants. Our local station did a survey and most people responding said it was way over publicized. To their credit, that station backed off but most haven't.

I guess one can say his death is a homocide in the same vein as all drug related deaths are homocides...[being the dealer is the murderer]. Jackson was an addict and was searching out the dope from all over the globe and a lot of diff docs, from what's being reported. The problem is the intent was not to kill [probably] but to make a profit, so, I don't forsee this as being a 1rst degree murder case. One of the dr's in his employ was making 150,000 a month.

Yeah, but we all know not to trust our drug dealer. Some of us still think we should be able to trust doctors to do no harm, especially when well paid.

I don't disagree with you completely, but they have yet to prove that. They don't even know what killed him. I suspect what everyone else suspects though and it's sad. :(

So many young people in hollywood (and I'm sure others too) go that way.

And I hate how so many annoying media rumors are now displayed as fact. God I would totally hate that if people believed rumors about me and I had no way to prove otherwise. Grrr.

Can I just say: WHO CARESSS! Gawd I'm so tired of hearing about this. The dude is dead. That's all there is to it.

TMZ also thinks any woman over 120 pounds at any height is obese.

A source tells the Associated Press the Los Angeles County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide. The source says the coroner has determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died.

What are your thoughts?  Did he request the drugs or was it homicide?  Undecided

Sources:  CNN, TMZ, CBC

Negligent homicide...maybe.

i think its so sad. just like anna. :..(
