Jeans that fit my huge athletic thighs?

Quote  |  Reply

So I have lost almost 8lbs and I have lost a few inches here and there, but my thighs have gained. I was wondering if anyone knows of jeans I can get that willl fit me in the waist with enough room for my thighs? I know eventually it will e ven out but right now my jeans suck!

No answer on the jeans but same deal for me. I've lost 11.5 pounds and inches off my waist but still have large thighs. I've added muscle to them without losing much fat yet.  They've got a nice curvy shape but damn they're large in comparison with the rest of me.  Really looking forward to seeing what they look like with less fat.

Stretch is your friend ;)

Kudos on the weight loss!

I like Joe's Jeans and Se7en's though.

Anything w/ stretch...

I'm in the same situation.  I have one pair of jeans that fit me.  I recently purchased a pair of Levis that are for "curvy" figures.  I assume that means they have more room in the hips and thighs.  They fit fantastically and I am thrilled that they are a size 8!  Yea me!

Can you try trouser jeans or wide leg jeans? They are more dressy looking but the legs are very wide on that style of jean. Here's some at Gap, they also have curvy fit.

Also agree with looking for curvy fits. They have them at Gap, Levis, etc. Stretch jeans are good too. The jeans at Banana Republic usually run a bit bigger in the leg, in my experience.

And yes, 2nd what someone said about Joe's Jeans. They are really pricey so not sure what you're looking to spend. But they are good for those who are not stick skinny. I actually had to get rid of a pair because they stretched so much after I bought them, they fell off my body.

If you want higher end jeans, I agree with Joe's Jeans, etc.

If you want something a little more affordable, I'm always a fan of Levi's stretch.

My ultimate favorite jeans right now lie between the two and they are BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters. They're about 60 bucks a pair.

Try stepping outside the box a little. PZI Jeans are geared more for curvier people, and though I don't have a large butt my thighs are kind of thick and I find that these jeans tend to fit them the best.

Buy jeans to fit the thighs, then tailor them down. You can take in the waist too.

I have lived in Old Navy's Sweetheart Bootcut Jeans for the last two years.  I've probably gone through....10 pairs? ( I wear them almost every day so I go through about three pairs every six months) They have just enough stretch to fit but don't look skin tight or awkward.  And last time I checked they were on sale for $19.99.

I wear these too.  My size goes down every few months, so I'm not really looking to spend a ton on nicer jeans.  I have big thighs and muscular calves, and the stretch in these works well for me.

I did not read any of these posts but the title to the thread made me laugh.  I LOVE huge athletic thighs.  Love may not be a strong enough word.

I was so delighted when I discovered MixIt, I think it's from Penny's or Sears. They're really made for women with butts and thighs, and they don't even leave a gap at the top in the back!

Thanks everyone, I will try Old navy when I can, last time I tried tho didn't work, maybe levis, grr I hope this evens out soon...

I have trouble finding jeans that fit my thighs as well because I am an avid runner and I have quads that are WAYYY too big in my opinion.  But kudos to this guy, it's nice to hear that a woman can be athletic and still attractive.

American Eagle boyfriend cut?

Or just curvy cut

This is what I do...well, except I just wear a belt instead of getting it taken in...it's easier :P
