I wanted to see how many people out there have a preference with jeans, the size and shape of their body and what looks best. Since losing 28 pounds, jeans look amazing and now they come in so many shapes. Here is my favorite.

Type: Levi's Denim Washed Low Rise Boot Cut (Tall)

Shape of Body: Curvy size 12

Height: 5'10

I'm a hourglass shape... I have a big bum/hips and a really narrow waist. I love Reitmans pants. I usually go for the boot cut or slight flare with a mid-waist rise (right below my belly button) any lower and my ass is hanging out all day. lol

Oh, I'm 5"2 with really short legs and a lonngg torso.

My ultimate best fitting jeans are http://www.pzijeans.com/ they are for curvy women who are tired of their jeans gapping at the waist you knwo what I'm talking about, when your thighs and butt are a size 8 but your waist is more like a 6 causing your waist part of your jeans to be too big. PZIjeans eliminate and I LOVE THEM.

TYPE: PZI jeans

Body: slightly curvy size 8

Height: 5"6

I also like the skinny jeans fit (I think they make my butt look bigger and I love it.)

Old Navy just below the waist curvy(sweatheart) size 8short( bootcut)
I know exactly what you are talking about Jamminator. I have some junk in my trunk and can't do low rise without having a plumbers crack all day!! and Crack is whack everyone  remember that!!I really like the skinny jeans but they are usually low rise, I found that if I go up a size or 2 they fit much better. Either way I have such a hard time finding jean cause I'm 5' tall and have a big bum , my jeans are always loose at the waist!!!suggestions anyone!?!?

The curvy style from gap always worked for me. the waistband is larger so it keeps your crack in. hehe.  I've become a real big fan of skinny jeans, which i feel make no sense since i have a big butt and hips. The only jeans I buy now are Sevens, but only cuz my mother works for them so I pay practically nothing

I love the Gap Curvy jeans! I have worn a couple pairs of those out from wearing them so much. I used to work for Old Navy so I'd get a discount at Gap also... I don't anymore but I go to the Gap outlet to stock up on those jeans :)

I'm 5'3, hourglass-ish shape, and I looooove miss me jeans.  They make my legs look long and lean, and make my butt look smaller hehe.

Citizens of Humanity Jeans, all the way baby! I love them so much. I have a slim hourglass figure, a little over 5'6'', and I get size 26. I've been buying them for a few years now, and not really buying any other brands because each of their styles fits like they were cut just for me.

Oh we're gonna have to throwdown! That's Seven's competition!. But I'll admit I've tried them on and they do fit lovely, that's cuz the designers there originally worked for seven.

*raises fists*

Its time to brawl lippy! haha

girlfighting: lol I know, seven jeans are wonderful too, but they do not fit me as well. I may just be in between sizes, but I didn't like how they fit on my booty, and its ALL about the booty!

*puts dukes up* citizens are the best jeans out there right now! Seven couldn't handle the top designers so they left. ha!

My favorite used to be Levi's Silver Tab Button Fly Straight Leg, but they don't make them anymore :(

I found my first pair of jeans in 7 years that I will actually wear: Silver Aiko Low Rise Bootcut.

I have a fairly long torso, but a low belly button and wider hips. So I usually end up with a size bigger to fit the hips and then they are too high in the waist *sigh*. But these new jeans rock! The are a bit higher in the back and lower in the front with room in the hips no less so they solve my problem (and prevent plumber butt). I bought them in a 31 but now I'm thinking I probably could've gone for the 30, but I do prefer a looser fit...

Hey alterlatina, try the Old Navy skinny jean/Mid rise, they are perfect for me and I have a lil junk in my trunk too, by the way they were only 21 buck (cha ching) I lov ea good sale.

Lol, I'm too cheap to buy the super nice jeans... but I love my dark Old Navy Lowest Rise, Boot Cut Diva Jeans in a size 2, Long.  I usually have a hard time because everything fits me on the butt/thighs, but is way too loose in the waist. I'm hourglass'y (.70 waist to hip ratio) a little short waisted, but these actually fit like low rise jeans on me! :) I'm 5'5'', and down from a size 10/11.

Got them at the $12 jean sale last Saturday, and they fit me like a glove!! Woo hoo!

I love the jeans I got at Urban Outfitters! They were a little too long so I got them hemmed and now they're perfect! I'm 5'4 around 108 pounds and the jeans I think are a 25. I'm not too curvy so these jeans help :)

I just bought some great ones from Old Navy.  The midrise style (flirt) bootcut.  They are the first jeans I have bought in a LONG time that fit on the butt and the waist (no more belts woohoo!)  Size 4 and either regular or short length.

I forgot to mention, I am 5'5 and apparantly a banana shape.

edited: to add bolded portion.

I'm in love with Pepe London's Super Skinny Jeans, in this lovely blue-black color. I sometimes cheat and wear them to school (we have a formal dress code, so no denim), but they look just like pants. :]

Plus, I love shopping for jeans at Marshall's- they have all the nice brand names for usually less than $20. Mine only cost $15, compared to the retail $80+ they cost!

I adore Madewell jeans, they're absolutely PERFECT =D The sizes are a little larger, so I don't always fit, but the ones that do fit feel so worn-in, yet high-quality at the same time. They're a little pricey, but they're my favorite =]

Where can I get Citizens of Humanity Jeans or Seven Jeans. I have junk in my trunk but a small waist so....**embarressed to raise hand and say crack shows someitmes without a belt** I am a guilty plumber girl....AND I DONT WANT TO BE

I agree!  I love Seven's and also have become wild about Joe's Jeans.  I am 6" tall and fall between a 29 and 30 in their sizes depending on the cut.  They can get pretty pricey but are well worth it for nice jeans that are long enough and make your booty look HOT!   You can find these at Nordstroms or Saks...and a lot of little boutiques I am sure...they are pretty popular.

I also have some GAP trouser jeans in extra long (online) that I love and Banana Republic carries nice jeans that are cut well.

I LIVE in Jeans on the weekends and even dress them up for going out!  Once you find that pair you LOVE you will find it hard to put on anything else!

I have an hourglass shape, but my butt is FLAT as all getout! I also have a long torso and fairly short legs. I have a pair of American Eagle jeans that I LOVE, but they just changed their cuts so I feel like I have to start all over again :(

Any suggestions? I'm 5'7", 148 lbs, and usually wear a size 8/10.

I have been searching for a brand of jean that will fit.  I am short from crotch to belly button but have big thighs and butt.... so most low rise or ultra low rise pants don't fit my legs and regular cut go up high enough I could tuck my boobs in....  any suggestions?
