What is your favorite brand of jeans?  Why do you like them?  I'm looking for new ones and know you gals will be a good source of info!

Well, that depends on your spending range.  My favorite brand on the lower end are by far express...now that I can fit back into them.  They wash well, look great and I like how the pockets dont' make my butt look any bigger.  LOL!  Gap has one style that I like alot, the low rise boot cut...but for me, the waist is always so big on them if I get them to fit my...ah...curvy tuckus.  I always have to have them altered.

If you're willing to spend a little more money, I love seven for all mankind.  Comfy cotton, look great and only get better the longer you have them.   But these too I must always have altered...but only because they're for the taller ladies and I'm a shorty.

I'm always up for trying new brands...but these seem to be the three I always go back to.

my favorite are the Sweetheart Jeans from Old Navy...they have I think 4 different styles...and they flatter all shapes of women...I have never had more compliments on my jeans then when I wear them

American Eagle seems to be the only place I can find a supply of "short" jeans and not have to have them hemmed.  They also make my butt look good.  However, I think their sizes run kind of big - but it makes me happy to buy such small sizes!

Guess Daredevil Bootcut.

Okay, now don't take this the wrong way...I'm just purely a "butt man".  I don't know where you buy them but the nicest "butt" jeans have to be Silver.  I know a woman in her late 20's.  3 kids and recently lost about 20 pounds.  She wears these jeans and they are incredible.  I always make it a point to walk by her on a daily basis to see what she's wearing.  I've stopped and talked to her a few times (it's my job) and noticed the name tag "Silver".  I'm sure that they fit her well just like Gap fits one person, Old Navy fits another and plain ole Levis fit the next.  Just my opinion.

honestly ucantseeme, that was fabulous. I love when a guy takes a say in fashion even women's!

Personally, I have a small waist with sort of larger hips, a definite butt, and a skaters thighs. So, I like A&F, and the Starlight jeans at the Buckle. I have found some good ones at little boutiques where I live and they usually cost about 40, 50, 60 dollars which to me is a good price for good quality. However, the most I would ever spend on a pair of (GOOD!) jeans is about 80 dollars. I am a college student after all soooo jeans need to last at least three years.

loved hearing from a guy!  I think that a positive reaction from my hubby...or another man - would probably be a great barometer for the jeans!  Thanks

newport-news has several styles, but my favorite is the slim leg. it's a style that is almost impossible to find anywhere else. I've adapted to the idea of my other pants being loose around the calf, but refuse to go there with jeans. i really like the feel and look of the jeans "tight" on my calf. and with the addition of spandex jeans can now fit tight with out cutting off circulation. yea spandex!

*shamefully*  I do Embarassed...but I did give you two that I like that are WAY less expensive!!!  I find that Express is the closest to Seven as far as the look I like...and easier on the wallet.

union bay.

they fit, are cute.

and arent over priced.

American Eagle is one of the only brands that actually gives me a butt!
I love em.

i like the NY&Co lower rise slightly stretch jeans.  They fit my hips but also fit my waist.  I bought a pair after I had Julia and I didn't have extra skin haning over when I wore them.  ANd, they mold to your body quite well, too.

silver.they make ur booty look awesome and are not very expensive.

yep - been wearing  N_N jeans for years - great value, but now between sizes -the 6 fits in all the places but waist is a bit too snug since it sits well below waist.  I have not tried the stretch ones yet, tho' - may do that.

Thanks for all the replys - I'll try to find these brands and try them on - guess they are sold in speciality stores?  I know some are available in department stores but haven't seen some (American Eagle).   Guess I'd better spend a day shopping.....Laughing

Riders Instantly slim you ... my faves... now I am 70lbs over my goal weight so I like the slimming feature... but there are no gaps in the back, the pockets lie flat and has a tummy panel that keeps the front from "pooching" price is right to under $50 at most places.

Also make dress pants with the same features.

I used to spend money on really expensive pairs of jeans from places like Arden B and Nordstrom, but about two years ago I developed a nickel allergy, so I can only wear jeans that have nickel-free rivets, otherwise I get a nasty rash wherever the rivets touch my skin....good times.

Anyway, so far I have found a few brands of jeans that I can wear, one of them being Mudd jeans, which I actually really like! They fit really well, are reasonably priced, and my boyfriend says my butt looks good in them, so that works for me!

Well I have a consignment store near my house that has $20 J Brand jeans and $10 A&F jeans, so I usually shop there.

Or I'll get my jeans at Forever21, as they tend to run shorter and I'm only 5'3".  Plus, they're jeans are typically around $20.

I tend to go for dark wash (i heard they're slimming lol) and boot cut or skinny jeans.
