Hey everyone. Just joined this group today to see if anyone here was from NJ? Perhaps the monmouth county area? I'm always looking for new people to help motivate and keep me motivated.

A little background on me, started with CC about 3 years ago this month. Lost a total of 80 lbs, gained about 25 of that back, and I now have to lose that plus an additional 40 or so. Just trudging through, down a few since April since I restarted this whole thing. Hope I can find someone to chat with :)

Sorry from New York, Be happy to help Motivate. I am in my last 10 lbs (lost 25 so far) and can not get it off. Been able to maintain for about 6 weeks, maybe we can motivate each other??

i cannot wait to get into that last 10lbs! i'm slowly moving down now, more motivated than i have been in a while actually. it's been a pretty steady drop since april, about 17lbs on a good day haha.

as far as losing your last 10lbs, i would say stick with it. definitely do not give up. eventually the weight will go, but sometimes you have to rev your metabolism. have you tried zig zagging calories?

Hey, Im from Jersey but not monmouth. Im also in my first (and last 10 pounds) after the achievement (i can do it!) i plan on switching to maintnance mode so i don't repeat my mistakes. I was technically done until my vacation trip to brazil and well, here i am again! heh. Well ill be around just as nieto914 and i am ready to help!

-i zig zag calories and i find it works quite well. A little more about my diet: it's low calories/high protein/low fat. i usually try to keep my protein doubled to my fat intake and my proteins at about 20% of my caloric intake

Welcome, Still trying have been maintaining only for some reason the body keeps saying no more weight loss. As for the Zig zag it is not easy for me. I still have hope and one day I will break free.
