Why am I still jiggly?

Quote  |  Reply
I never have been overweight but my thighs have always been an issue with me. I started doing cardio again in April, mostly the elliptical and now I just started running. I've toned up every part of my body, even my thighs, but the whole upper part of my legs STILL jiggle? Ive watched this in the mirror so I'm not just being crazy. What gives? Do I just need to do more leg exercises, or learn to accept that my sickly shaped thighs?!

(oops. take the word "that" out of the last sentence)

It's possible that you are seeing "jiggle" that's not really there or normal leg jiggle.  If not, add some squats with or without weights, lunges and wall squats.  That should help tone up your legs.  With the added muscle your running times should also improve.

Yep! Def. incorporate enough weight training to actually tone up! Not just lose fat through cardio! Although some people are just build that way. At least you don't have chicken legs!!! :o) Embrace!

even at my skinniest, my legs still jiggled! lol, i think im just built that way hehe. not to worry, i love my curves anyway :)

I do lunges and squats with small weights and leg lifts at least 2 or three times a week. I still have a lot of weight to lose though, so everything is still jiggling, but I can feel the muscle under there!
