Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum for the Wii

Hey guys, I was thinking about getting Jillian Michael's Wii game, as it's in the dead of winter, and I tend to hibernate. I need something to keep my butt moving.

Has anyone here tried this game? Did you like it? Did you use it on a regular basis or toss it under the couch after a week?

At $60, is it worth it?

I've been using Wii Fit on a regular basis, it really does help me get off my butt. I tend to become really de-motivated at home, so having something to get moving with is good for me. With Wii Fit though, a) i have grown bored of the same ole same ole b) thought it was a little too aimed at a younger audience.

ooh - i could have jillian in my very own living room?  screaming at me?  what's the rating on this game?  because if she didn't tell me to stop my **** crying, i'd be disappointed.

I was going to buy it but the reviews on amazon (i think it was amazon) kind of deterred me, if you do get it let us know how it is!

The reviews on it are terrible, they said the graphics are bad, it is more of a game than a workout, and that Jillian should be ashamed to have her name on something this terrible...

Ah! Thanks for the heads up! I read the reviews on Amazon, not good at all.

On a side note, I did read the reviews on Wii "My Fitness Coach" and it seems to be pretty popular.

So I think I'll get My Fitness Coach instead.

I was going to get it for my wife for Christmas but once I read the reviews I decided to go with My Fitness Coach instead.  Btw, My Fitness Coach is less of a game and more of just a Wii workout video.

I was looking to buy it but iam having 2nd ideas I think I will stick to the Wii Fit Board and work out I also looking at  the game (My Fitness Coach ) anybody try it yet??

'my fitness coach' is actually a remake of 'yourself!fitness', I love it, it is almost like having a personal trainer, the work outs always are different so they don't get predictable like work out video's tend to, your level gets tested every 10 work outs and then the work outs are adjusted accordingly, I'd recomend it to anybody that wants to work out at home, definitely a good investment.

Hi everyone! I am a new person on here and was just reading these, I actually have both, and much prefer the fitness coach.Jiliun is ok, but I get much more out of the coach. I really like wii fit also. I use it the most. I love the one you have to follow the feet!!! Have a wonderful day!!!

I am planning on renting Jillians workout game from the video store.  I saw that they have it.  That way I can give it a try first.  If I like it, then I can spend the money. 

I really enjoy the Wii Fit though. I like to to do the run where you switch it to TV and it still keeps track of the distance.  I put my mini trampoline in front of the TV and jog on it.  I can go for 40 minutes if something good is on.  I also like the games that came with the Wii.  I can really work up a sweat playing baseball (which I suck at) or boxing.

So after trying three different stores, I finally lucked out and got the last copy  of My Fitness Coach at EB games... apparently this is a really popular game.

I did a 30 minute work-out last night, and it really kicked my butt. My muscles are tender today, but not the "oh god, i pushed myself too far" sore.

Looking forward to another workout tonight!

I can't find a Wii Fit anywhere!!! 

I'm crying! I'm so jealous of you that have one. 

I just bought my wii and wii fit today at Costco.

 They are both price fixed.  The Wii console is $249 and the Fit is $89, no matter what store you get it from. 

I have to say I LOVE mine.  Even just the Wii Sports game that came with the console was enough to make it worth the $249 for me.  My husband and I have so much fun playing tennis, boxing, etc.!  You don't have to stand up and do the motions like you're really playing the sport, but it's a lot more fun if you do.

The Fit is also a great product, and the software that comes with it is very good.

My Fitness Coach is awesome as is Wii Fit.  I alternate between these two for my indoor workouts.  My Fitness Coach is truly a bargain at $29.95 and it is a structured workout program that is adusted according to your individual needs.  I would reccommend this to anyone.  I saved like 20% off the already cheap sticker price by buying mine from a Circuit City that was going out of business.
