Jillian Michaels 20 lbs shred in 30 days?
Has anyone used it yet? I am on my 3rd time of using it and love it. It does get your heart beat going fast.
If it's the 30 day shred, I have it. I've used it now for 3 weeks. I can definitely feel a huge difference. I burn 400-500 calories in an hour using it.
Good luck!
I've used it for maybe a couple of months now. I've been doing Level 3 for 3 weeks or so. Sometimes I do Level 3 with another of the lower levels if I feel like a stronger workout or if it's raining and I can't run outside. I haven't lost much weight, though I don't have much to lose. I'm mostly maintaining and it's helped me do that. I can also feel stronger and and more fit around the waistline.
I definitely suggest it. I'm not sure what her diet plan is that goes along with it because I don't actually have the dvds. momof2funykds, do you know what that entails?
Cheers!
I have literally just sat down after finishing the workout (well...I showered first!!). I'm loving it!!...it's already made such a difference to my body shape already and I'm still only on level one! Can't wait to get to level 2!
I tried it ... once, and i couldnt walk right for 4 days. It was way too much jumping for me, as I am very top heavy, and all that bouncing really hurt =(
I want to try it again, i just need to figure out a way to eliminate the bouncing.
Great workout tho.

Enell Sports Bra: They held my 32G (UK) puppies in place! They go all the way up to a 50 back and are the only sports bra I've had where I don't need to wear another bra under the bra! It's allowed me to finally do some decent cardio...a workout godsend!
I have it................. I LOVE IT!!!!!!
I am on level two will probably do level three tomorrow... Today I have already done level 2 and am going to a friends house to do level 1 with her.( I am her coach, and inspiration.) I am so proud of her because she did it the other day and actually wants to do it again.
I've used it in the past, just not fo the full 30 days. It does work! Definately makes me stronger and feel more fit. My question is that does it make anyone one else gain weight? I know its muscle, but I really don't want to bulk up. Has anyone bulked up from this? I keep my calorie intake as low as I can, but just am afraid of growing muscle under the fat, making me look larger than I really am.
Emmmers, don't worry about bulking up. Women's muscles are smaller than men's. Plus, the more muscle you have the more body fat you are burning, the stronger and ripped you'll get. Good Luck!
umm the first few days I would use a higher level I would gain a bit, but I think it was just water retention due to the increased intensity of the workout. That went away.
I've used it off and on for about 2 weeks, i did nto now you were pose to you is every day, is it as effective if you use it everyday, cause you are not pose to weight train eveyday, her workout uses weight.
I've used it everyday and haven't noticed any problems. I think as long as you aren't killing your muscles you should be ok. It's not all weights. I've noticed some positive changes. Good luck!
What size dumbells do you need for it? I have some tens, but wonder if I need lighter ones for this type of workout. I thought about ordering it. I am at a pretty advanced fitness level and I hope it's challenging enough. All your posts were helpful in my desicion making.
I have been doing the shred every day for the last 4 months. It's the first thing I do when I get out of bed every day at 4 am and on the weekends I often do 2 or all 3 of the routines back to back. I'm addicted and I LOVE IT!!! I keep upping my weights when the exercises get easier and I have yet to burn out on it. Also...I think I look pretty good, nice and toned! I highly recommend not only doing it for 30 days, but making it a party of your routine permanently! :-)
aah!
I want it so bad! >.<
is it easy to get? like in a normal dvd store? or just online?
and...price...?
*sorry..it's just that..I'm not from the states.. xD *

I got my at walmart. You can go to walmart.com and should be able to get it there.
For all of you who have done it.. how do you log it into your activity? what do you count it as?
shill: i think you can use whatever weight you are comfortable with. i only have 3 kg weights and at first some of the moves were hard because i swear they're using tiny ones in the video. you can totally up them when it starts to feel too easy. jumping jacks with weights in your hands is hard!!
iamacommitmentto: i just log it in as circuit training, but i do feel as though i'm working a lot harder for those calories.
k-loo: i'm the same as you! i feel weird when i haven't done it in a day. i also like to do more than one if i have more time or if i don't go for a run. i totally feel more toned, especially in the hips/waist. i love it! i was thinking i should move on to something else since i've been doing it so long (didn't want my body to get used to it) but i like your idea of just upping the weights. maybe i'll give that a go!
I'm using it again and it does make a difference in my waist! What I've been doing so my body doesn't get used to it is vary the workouts. For example, on Monday I'll do #1, Tuesday #2, Wed #3, THurs #2, Fri #3. Gives my muscles a rest and mixes things up a little bit. It seems to work!
i love the thrity day shred!! I havent had it for a long time though. For the first seven times i did it i was on level 1. Now i am level two have done it everyday since monday. At first i was only doing it on weekends because i was going to the gym during the week but now i cant go to the gym so i have been doing it every day. I dont know how it has improved my shape though since i was doing other things before.
