It is such an easy and awesome workout!  I think I was sweating in the first 4 seconds LOL!  Jillian is great, I'm looking forward to getting the rest of her dvds!

melissa, I am on my second day with the dvd--I hate to exercise, but I am trying to do this--I have not mastered it like gingerkabureck,  but I worked all the way through the first workout.  I am tired (which is why I am online), but I am going to see it through.  I figure if it helps me it is worth the 30 minutes of torture!!!  (only torture because I hate exercise--maybe I'll learn to love it).

Seriously, it is worth the time and the money.  I truly am hoping that I will be able to work my way all the way through the 3rd and hardest workout.

Debbie

I have definitely not mastered this workout... in fact, I'm not even past the 1st one!  I have been doing it on and off for about 2 weeks, and now I am trying to get myself prepped to do it 30 days straight.  Since there are 3 levels of workout, I am going to do each one for 10 days and see how that goes.  I strongly advise you to keep the dvd- it's a fun and short workout!

Thanks for the reply! I just finished my first workout and WOWZA! Love it!! I can even do it with my 2 girls (ages 2 and 3). Gingerkabureck, and (missed other posters name) join me on the 30 day challenge!! I am definitely doing it in addition to my running training. I am currently at 177 and would love to drop 20 lbs!! I know I can do it, determination and a challenge will get me there. Just something about Jillian right there and seeing her training style is a great ass kicking!!

I am on my 10th day and I have a love/hate relationship with this workout...I LOVE the results but HATE the strain!!  :)  Really, though, I am building lean muscle (I can feel it in my legs and arms) and even started seeing some definition in my stomach (ok, FARRR from a six-pack, but you know the sides?  I can see lines there now).  I am not so jiggly and last week, which was the first full week I did the video, I lost 2 inches off my waist and hips.  I would suggest this DVD to anyone who wants to try to something challenging.  I am planning on doing the first workout for at least another week and then moving on.  There are days I don't want to do it, but I just imagine Jillian coming to me in my dreams and yelling at me to get my butt in gear!!

I just did my day 2. MAN AM I SORE!! I am adding this to my running so I am really working it!! So I was contemplating NOT doing it today but my girls ages 2 and 3 wanted to do it...great motivation. Wondering if it is an every day thing regardless of soreness? I just pretended I was on BL and worked through it...a little burn never hurts.
I took a day off after 2 days because I could hardly walk. I resumed today and the workout felt HARDER than before!! LOL!! I say rest if your body needs it- you don't want to get hurt.

I have a question! My OnDemand feature has shred session and Shred session 2.  I tried the Shred session 1 last night.   WOW what a workout. I too was sweating in the like the first 4 seconds... here's my question...

Am I suppose to do the Shred everyday? (I am silently praying one of you will say of course NOT.... LOL).  I do the Shred Level 1 for how long?  Again, every day?  LOL.  I really really liked it!  Any guidance on  how often I do it would be appreciated.

Jennifer, I wonder the same thing. I think it is in her book that is new, I plan on picking it up this weekend. In fact my husband meant to order the book and that's how I ended up with the DVD. I just finished day 3 or 4 I can't remember, and I am so freaking sore! I also ran 2 miles on Tues., Wed, and today on top of that. The running is nothing to me, so I know I am sore from her!! Total kick butt workout! I am guessing the plan is to push yourself, everyday! It's not like it makes you hurt to the point where you CAN'T do a thing! I just keep thinking about BL contestants and I am sure they worked out everyday regardless of sore muscles.

You are supposed to do it every day if you can.  I started it and was so sore the next day, I took a day off.  Then I tried it again... so on so forth.  Once you are able to do it 10 days in a row, I'd suggest moving up to Stage 2.  I might be wrong, but that's how I'm doing it.

I just ordered it on eBay this afternoon. I've heard such great things and I have a 3 year old at home so I can't go out to a gym where I live.  Anyway hope this is as great as everyone says it is!  I LOVE a challenge!

today was my 1st day ... and boy was it hard...had to stop every now and then ... plus ... I just couldn't do the push ups...!!! even with the knee bent (( Cry )) !!!aaargh ....and my legs were trembling ... literally !!! I didnt expect that .....

hoping that I will be able to do it completely the next time ... :)
