Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred Challenge: Sign-ups Closed
DON'T PUT OFF UNTIL TOMORROW WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY!
Looking for others who have done shred before but have left it sitting on the shelf too long, or who haven't tried it yet. We will all post our starting weights on Monday and check in weekly with current weights. If you haven't taken advantage of the 30 day free trial on Jillian Michael's website now would be the perfect time.
This will provide us with the incentive to follow through. Plus we can all be motivated by each other's success. We can share food ideas and general wellness suggestions. Weigh-ins will be on Mondays (this is done on purpose to help us watch ourselves on the weekends).

So I did level 1 this morning...thought I was going to pass out. I love the fact that she doesn't give you any break time, but MAN!
So my starting weight is my same weight for the last month!!! 244.8. (I have lost 20 and then have just stayed there...going along never changing...I hate the scale!!! So hopefully Jullian will knock me off this stupid number and my goal is to be down 10 lbs this month!

I'm all in! I'm glad I found this post. I jus received No More Trouble Zones, Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism, and 30 Day Shred. I haven't tried the Shred, but BFBM is a killer! I look forward to working out with all of you! Let's get it!

I'm in, although I cheated and started Saturday because I work 16 hours monday and tuesday so I won't be doing it those days. Starting weight 207.

Glad to see you all, I'll put all the start weights in the first post tomorrow. I was just watching Biggest Loser Season 7 Episode 1 (I haven't had TV in a while but I just got the first bunch of this season from a friend) and I had to take a break because it's so emotionally draining. I like to watch it for motivation, but it seems I end up crying my eyes out the whole time.
I woke up sick as a dog this morning, just a nasal thing now so I'll be doing my shred workout in a bit (I had to wait until the pounding stopped.
Just a word of advise (a little late but better late than never) don't forget to drink as much as you can before and after. It'll really help out preventing the screaming, seizing, next day muscle soreness.

Only got the DVD today (end of 8th June) so will be starting it tomorrow. To make up for it I went on a 45 minute jog! Can't wait to start it tomorrow, I think this is gonna be quite good fun (famous last words), although I haven't watched it yet... Uh oh!
I am still in. I'm 5'3", 44 years old and weigh 136. I'm hoping lose some weight but really need to build muscle and reduce ab and arm flab.
I'll be starting tomorrow, today is my B-Day and I'm going out!

I have the DVD and want to start doing it tomorrow. I only want to lose about 5 pounds (5'3", 130 pounds), but I'm hoping this will tone me up too!

DVD's were ordered just before I saw the post announcing this "shred-fest". So, they'll be here tomorrow or the next day. I can't believe I'm thinking to myself, "I can't wait to get those videos so I can be sore!"
5'3 Highest weight was 232. CW: 200 GW: 125
This will be a good addition to the walking/other DVD/calorie counting.

I did day one just now. It was rough, especially bc its ttom but I got through it. Looking foward to finishing it. I have a family reunion 30 days from now and would love to look and feel great for it. I haven't seen most of these people for 5 years
I did this this morning for the first time.. and wow. Haha I thought I was relatively fit but this is tough!
Does anyone know on average how much weight you're supposed to lose in 30 days if you do this every day (along with healthy eating etc.) ?
The cover says that you can lose up to 20 lbs in 30 days.
Gosh, if I could get to my goal weight with this, I'd wash Jillian Michael's feet with my hair!
I would LOVE to lose 12 pounds in this 30 days.
Is everyone doing this once a day or are you doing more than just the dvd everyday as far as exercise?
I'm doing this once and then speed walking/jogging for around 30-45 minutes. I was doing that before I started the challenge so thought I might as well continue!
I'm doing this once a day and doing "8 Minutes in the Morning" also-basically, strength training. I just started that yesterday too. We'll see....
