Join me in losing 25 lbs!
I would love to get a group of people together to help motivate each other to lose around 25 lbs by the by the end of the year. It really motivates me to see other really work for their goals. As for me, I'm down almost 60 lbs from my heaviest but have been on a weight roller coaster for the last year. I have not been watching what I eat and have not been exercising. Like all of you I'm extremely busy and grabbing a burger for dinner is just easier than going home and cooking. Have I mentioned I hate exercising?
I would like to do weigh ins on Mondays. I am literally terrified to step on the scale to see what that dreaded number is. But I'm willing to do it if you are. Who is with me?
Ok i would love to join you in losing 25 lbs. Im new here and im just checking out the forum. Ive been working on losing weight since July 20th 2009. I exercise everyday except one day a week . I try my best to eat right. Sometimes thats really hard for many reason. I would love to help people stay motivated and to keep myself motivated also. Oh by the way ive lost 10 lbs so far. I usually weigh in on fridays because im not so good on the weekends lol. I really want to loss alittle more than 25 lbs but 25 by the end of this year would be great... IM with You...lol bbl

Im currently sitting at 270 and hoping to be 250 by christmas but seeing how i have managed to trim 30lbs since the begining of july.. 25 by the end of the year sounds good. will put me a little ahead of schedule and closer to my first big goal of 235 by march 1

I have about 50 lbs to lose overall, but 25lbs by the end of the year sounds awesome. I started CC at the end of July and have lost only 5 lbs....major plateau - so this may just be the kick in the pants that I need to get motivated again! I don't mind/ care when we do weigh-ins - just let me know what we've decided - much like dreamy, I don't do so hot on weekends, but maybe the Monday weigh in will help me behave a little better.

I started CC earlier this year, and was doing pretty good for a while. worked hard counting my calories and lost 15 pounds, then things got pretty crazy, i fell off the wagon, and gained 5 back. I have a little more than 25lbs to lose but finding a group like this is great!

Yes please, pleasse count me in. I joined ages ago, infact in 2007 but it has gone very wrong and I can't even remember how to use this site but I'm definitely in. I am so lacking the strength sometimes, the willpower and would be great to chat to a group of people that together we can work towards what will really make a difference to our lives, man certainly mine..to be able to look in the mirror.
Lets do this by Christmas, hell or high water :)

I would love to join this group, I have lost approx 60lbs and if I was able to lose a further 25lbs I would be at my goal weight. I haven't join any of the groups previously, but this one fits the bill exactly.
I am determined to shift this weight, and even more determined not to put it back on, so hopefully this group will give me the motivation to continue.
Come Christmas, we will all be able to wear what we want confidently. Good luck one and all

I'm back on the weightloss train becuase I want to get pregnant w/ baby #2 in the summer. I was in shape when I became pregnant with my 1st; and let me tell you- it was and has been very HARD for me to get back to my normal self. I don't have time to work out b/c I work full time and take care of her. Not that I'm complaining at all; just wish I could find a 24 hour gym. Moving on..
I'm in- I'll weigh myself tomorrow- I'm AFRAID.
Even if it's 20 pounds by July I'll be happy. I'm thinking that I'm in the 140-145 area; that's how I feel.
Hey count me in too! I have exactly 25 lbs to shed as well (in order for me to be in my normal BMI) So I would love to join you in this. I will check in every Monday and weigh in just like everyone else. Sounds good!

Before I had my son 3 years ago I was between 138 and 140 just can't seem to loose the extra 20 lbs!

I want to lose around 25lbs before december 31st! I know this might be a little too aggressive, but we'll see. My plan is to eat healthy and have cereal and fruit for breakfast, something light and healthy for lunch, and a light dinner. I have a sweet tooth and dark chocolate is my kryptonite. I think I'm gonna have a small piece of chocolate as dessert after my lunch. Also, I'll be having coffee throughout the day too with creamer (gonna use non-fat stuff). Good luck everyone! Count me in I have been at this since july 31/08 and from then till oct/08 I lost 45lbs... Ive recently gained 15lbs...*sigh*

I would love to join a group to get me motivated again. I have been a member since April and had lost 35 lbs. this far until a month ago then I got in a slump. I gained 6 lbs. over 3 weeks, have lost 2 of them but would like support to keep going. 25 more lbs. by the end of the year would be awesome. We can do this if we support each other.
Count me in! I joined CC about 2 weeks ago and like knowing that there are other people in my boat that can relate to what I'm going through by trying to get healthier--and thinner. :)
I've lost 9lbs so far and am at 231lbs. My goal is to get to 210 by the end of the year. I can really use the encouragment to keep going, to get to the gym, to make good food choices. Let's do this!
I would love to join you! I've been soooo off track the last few weeks that I know I've put on 6 pounds. I think that this challenge is great for all of us.

Can I join too??? I can not imagine losing 25 lbs, that would be great! I have been using this site on and off for over 2 years. Last year I lost around 12 lbs, and then proceeded to put it back on again.
My current weight is 153 (as of this morning). So, if I was to loose 25lbs then that would make me 128. I really can not remember when I was 128lbs.
I use to run 3 miles everyday for over a year. I fell off the "exercise wagon" and can not seem to find the motivation to get back on. So, my goal will be to start walking again, and hopefully get back to running.
I can definetly use to support. I am sick of talking about how I want to loose weight. I need to just stick to it this time.
My weakness is snacking. I love chips, crackers and cheese, etc... After I get home from work I can not seem to stop snacking. That is an area I will have to work on also.
Well I hope that I am not too late to join. I could really use the support.
Welcome sreeves8! You are not alone and it's not too late (I don't think?). I think you have a great plan! I might have to copy your goal to start walking again and hopefully get back to running. It's amazing how easy and fast it is to fall off the exercise wagon but it's sooo hard to get back on track, isn't it?
I'm with you on the snacking when I get home from work - it's terrible! I try to control it a bit by drinking a huge bottle of water in the car on the way home, and then I don't feel quite so starved. Instead of running to the kitchen, I have to run to the loo. :) A lot of it is simply habit with me, too.

Hello, i wanna join your group as well. I think that losing weight in groups is a lot better than alone. Specially in this country of so much junk food, cakes, burgers and pizzas where it's real easy to break the diet. So i wanna join, my goal is about 15 lbs. And like you said you wanna lose before December 31st of this year. So i think you still have time to lose about 20 lbs. at least.
