Join me in losing 25 lbs!
I would love to get a group of people together to help motivate each other to lose around 25 lbs by the by the end of the year. It really motivates me to see other really work for their goals. As for me, I'm down almost 60 lbs from my heaviest but have been on a weight roller coaster for the last year. I have not been watching what I eat and have not been exercising. Like all of you I'm extremely busy and grabbing a burger for dinner is just easier than going home and cooking. Have I mentioned I hate exercising?
I would like to do weigh ins on Mondays. I am literally terrified to step on the scale to see what that dreaded number is. But I'm willing to do it if you are. Who is with me?
Ok 181lbs last monday -
Monday 12th October 2009 - 177lbs, not too impressed, It is another 4lb off but I've been trying these slimming tablets and kinda hoped for a bit more. I did drink 3/4 bottle of Martini saturday evening so shouldn't be that hopeful I guess.
Went for a medium to fast walk on the treadmill this morning for 20mins and gonna aim to do that every morning this week and see how it goes.

And to Eli, building muscls does add weight, perhaps try using a tape measure and check your calves etc and see if you can record any changes over the next couple of weeks :)

Weight today: 167lbs
Lost 71lbs in total now (since Aug 08), so I am happy with 1lb loss.
Way to go angelmmortal, what are the pills!

Down .2 but at least it is down. It has been kind of hard to eat right with the cornmaze and pumpkin patch going on. Have another three weeks with that than hopefully things will get back to normal. We have groups all week then weekends are always busy. I get in some walking but not as much as when not there. Oh, well can only do what I can do.

Ughhhhh....the scale didn't budge this week despite daily appointments w/the "dreadmill" and weight training 3 days. I can only chalk it up to mother nature visiting. I should just be happy I didn't gain with the carb cravings I've been fighting (sometimes not successfully) and the horrible bloating (sorry, probably TMI for some but others know what I mean). My "yea moment" this week was when I was able to go down a size in pants. Gotta keep at it...

OMG!!!!!!!! I was dreading this weigh in so much but i am so proud I'm not even bothered to show u all!
I was 220 last monday and dispite the stress and the fact that I only worked out 3 days last week I lost! LOST 3lbs!! I am so so motivated!!!!! CAn;t wait to get this week started again!

Last Monday - 195. This Monday 192.4. I will take it! I started the couch to 5k a fews weeks back to keep my cardio ever-changing. I think running and body pump twice a week is finally starting to take shape. Good luck everyone!![]()

Today, 154. I lost 2 lbs. through the week, but I drank booze all weekend...so...yeah.
Yeah, I'm with you on that dxiechicken41 - I lost 4 lbs last week, and then we just had (Canadian) thanksgiving weekend, and I'm at my same weight - 185+
Oh well, today is another day....Sounds like you had a fun weekend, though! ;-)
I weighed myself yesterday morning and I was at 169.......... I have not been exercising like I should especially since I twisted my ankle (sigh).
I'm in too, but I only want to lose 20 lbs. Right now, I think I'm at 133 lbs (according to the last time I was weighed)...
I would like to get down to 110-115 lbs.
I have been trying to lose weight off and on for 2 years. I just want to do this for once and all. I really just need to follow a diet and stick to it. With No excuses or giving in. C'MON!!
Anyone want to buddy up one-on-one with similiar goals?

I just joined CC a few days ago with a goal weight of 145lbs. I have yet to see any weight drop, but I'm in! I need motivation and this sounds like a great group and a great goal!

Not much progress...lost .5lb. I guess it's better than gaining. I'm hoping to shed some of this water weight (I am so bloated!) and see a better number on the scale next week.
Does anyone have any good white chicken chili recipes? I'm craving it, but want to make it a bit more healthy.
A small loss is better than a small gain, I guess. Lost .2 this week.
Now pray this week goes well, I lost my favorite aunt yesterday and don't do well under stress ( grieve).

Might not be a massive amount but at least it downwards.
Guess I was too ashamed to come on Monday, put on 3lb, was doing so well but went out twice, drank a lot and ate a pizza, deserve it but so so annoyed with myself and gutted, don't seem to be moving from 12lb 12 and so desperately want to hit 11st something by Christmas :(
Don’t get too down on yourself. Wiggle room is there to be used! You'll get back on track in no time as I’m sure the next day u punished yourself and vowed never to do it again...but u will and that’s ok.
As long as u realizes the things you need to do differently. We all do it. Not one person in here can say they haven't fallen off track even for longer than a weekend. That’s why we are here and we understand so don’t feel ashamed. :) Your next week’s accomplishments will weigh out this set back and you'll reach your goal with a better understanding of your body and your temptations whether it is pizza or drinks lol (mine are the dreaded carbs)
