I just joined and I'm trying to get motivated!!
Hi! I just joined Calorie Count today and I'm really motivated to lose my excess weight. I found this website in my Woman's Day magazine and got right to signing up and filling out all of the info. I found a post for new members that suggested we copy and paste our answers to the following questions to introduce ourselves to all of you, so here goes!!!
1. Calorie Count Name (user id): mtstitcher
2. Name you prefer to be called in discussions: Tammy
3. Age & Sex: 46 & Female
4. General Location: California
5. Married? Single? Happily married for 26 years!
6. Kids? Furbabies? 23-year-old daughter
7. Favorite color? aqua
8. Favorite movie? "Return To Me"
9. Hobbies? Cross-stitching, reading, cooking, entertaining, & creating stationery.
10. Favorite Snack? Popcorn w/ lots of butter (but I'm going to have to get used to eating it without butter, right?)
11. Favorite Beverage? Iced tea or Diet Pepsi
12. Biggest Obstacle to Getting Healthy? I have epilepsy AND am having problems with varicose veins in my right leg so........ between the various seizures I have to deal with AND waiting for surgery on my leg my exercises are rather limited right now. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be so grateful.
13. Weight/Fitness Goal? I need to lose at least 40 pounds, but my doctor really wants me to shoot for 50 to 60 pounds. I am so depressed right now that I am going to shoot for 10 pounds at a time.
14. Least Favorite Household Chore? DEFINITELY IRONING
15. How did you find Calorie Count? I was reading Woman's Day magazine and a couple women who they featured losing weight used this website and it sounded very interesting and easy to use.
16. Anything Else You'd Like To Share? I am really looking forward to keeping up with this and I hope to meet some people like me. I am a Medical Trancription Student so I struggle with being at home doing online courses and not eating and trying to exercise.
I hope to meet some of you of here very soon!
