I just joined, thought i'd introduce myself :)
Hello everyone, my name is Lorna. I've been struggling with my weight for a very long time. Its time I lose it, I've said that so many times before, and then something happens. I hurt my back, or my foot is messed up. I really cant do anything and I gain everything I lost and more. It's just so hard. I want to lose this weight for myself and for my kids. I just wish it was so much easier. I'm dedicated to do this!!!! It would be nice to know if there were other people in the same predicament as me.
I know exactly how you feel. My weight has increased by 110 lbs in the last ten years and I cant take it anymore. I have been here before. I lose down about fifty lbs and then it comes back. I just joined yesterday so I am still figuring out the site but have found many useful tools such as the calorie burn meter and the food and exercise logs. I am already excited and cant wait to enter my info at the end of the day. I sent you a friend invite and if you have any questions I can try to help. I have found that there are many people on here that are willing to help.
Hey Im new to the site too and I have decided to get down to a goal weight. I havent been that weight since 6th grade. In highschool i was almost 240lbs and through time and smart choices and simple activity i lost 80 lbs since then. But I think that was the easy part because for the past 5 years I have remained about the same but i am finally ready to get below 150. Im strong and have built a lot of muscle mass in the past few years but am finally ready to start Calorie counting which i have never done in my life. I actually stated last week and its not as bad as i thought i like knowing what im putting in my body so the counter is awesome. It really is the best way to cut calories...awareness. This site is great....thanks for posting, you inspired me
