Jon and Kate Plus 8

Does anyone else watch this show?

I absolutely love it! It was extremely difficult (for me) to tell the sextuplets apart at first, but I think I know their faces by now. I love Alexis - she's such a cutie! I also have a feeling that Mady and I would get along famously, lol.

Anyone else?  

i LOVE that show. Kate is such an amazing mom i love all the cute things she does for the kids.

I could watch that show all day...in fact, I have! When it's on a marathon on TLC, I sit down and watch hours of it haha

I watch this show on occation, if I can catch it on.  The order of things is just amazing and Kate looks great!  I don't know how she could have 6 kids at once and still be okay.  They have great control.

I've seen it a few times ... Kate annoys the pi$$ outta me, though.  I think she's a controlling b***h.

But, I'd probably be insane if I had sextuplets.  One at a time, please.

Try being laissez-faire with 8 kids and a husband who looks freaked out 80% of the time.

How about "in control?" Kudos to her for her strength. There is absolutely nothing insane about that woman.

Love this show!! It was great seeing John and Kate before kids and how they have evolved. :)

Hey, they got NOTHIN' on the Duggars!

OMG I absolutely LOVE this show!!! Sometimes I think Kate is a lil crazy, but I can only imagine anyone would be w/ 9 kids and a of course the 9th child being her husband! LOL

I think the kids are absolutely adorable.  Leah and Aiden are my faves.  But I'd love to slap Mady!!!!!  I dunno how they put up w/ all her outbursts and attitude.  It kills me that she's older and the little ones are more well behaved than her!  Kate always says Mady needs "special attention" and i'm like NO, she needs to grow up and stop being such a prissy little brat!!!!!!!!! haha!

LOL the Duggars scare me!  Having an unlimited amount of kids just doesn't seem right to me and then the older ones just end up taking care of the younger ones.  Do they really end up having a normal childhood or are they mired in adult responsibilities?

Regarding Jon and Kate Plus 8, they are fabulous.  Unlike the Duggars, they were just trying to have one more kid and surprise they got sextuplets.  Kate is a little controlling but she is older than Jon and having to be with the kids all day would make anyone a bit cranky.  I like how good natured Jon seems to be.  I love big families (not for myself though). 

ps. yachtracer-LOVE THE QUOTE! That's my fave movie ever and we used the song as our wedding song! but btw the duggars totally freak me out! lol They're sooo weird!

I love this show too, I used to get bothered by how she spoke to Jon, but I think it is just their way.  She is a bit controlling, but she is also usually right and she just doesn't have time to waste.  I love how she still does things with them.  She said once, if I would do it with 1 child, why not 8...it isn't there fault there are a lot of them.  Love that about them.

As for the Duggers, I can't comprehend all those kids (she is preggo again if you didn't know) BUT..they have no debt, take no government aid and all the kids seem happy and healthy and very well cared for.  They all pray instuments and are all very well spoken as well.  They are doing SOMETHING very right with them for sure!

I Love, Love, Love this show!!!  I have a "Season Pass" for it on my TiVo so it records every episode.  They were all on the Today Show last week.  Kate is so patient with all her children & they are both so dedicated.  Until last year, I had almost no desire to have children.  Since watching this show, I've seen that it's not all that bad.

I think Kate is an incredible mom! You need to be in control with 8 kids.

jbalicki - I think Mady is strong willed, but not bratty. She's a sweetie most of the time (I think, lol).

Regarding the Duggars, they bug the living crap out of me, lol.

oh god, her babies must just fall out during labour by this point. Sometimes I wonder how hard this is on her body, she basically has a kid every year?? I also wonder how much of it is for publicity now, I mean come on, do they plan to have kids until she can't anymore? I sure hope each of their kids don't follow in their parent's footsteps.

I have to say, I've always been with kae03 (re: the Duggars).  I don't personally agree with their lifestyle or their religious beliefs, but they ARE taking care of those kids quite handily and seem to be very happy, so ... *shrugs*

And I don't know if Jon is immature so much as he's scared of Kate and her spinning head.  :-)  I think it's the germophobe thing that really annoys me ... because, well ... germophobes annoy me.  :-)

I agree with the germaphobe and avoidance of messes...another part of me sees her point, 8 sick kids and the mess could get out of hand easily...but still!

 

i loveee jon and kate plus 8 ......... ANNDDD about the Duggars........yeah its out there........i love watching their specials though.......as much as i try to change the channel....I CANT! its like the Duggars have some weird power over me...... LOL

i wonder if the Duggar kids are going to go to college.......maybe separate from the pack?  IDK
