judy's killer soup-great when your hungry

Ingredients
5 large onions, diced
2 lbs carrots, diced
8 stalks celery, diced
4 lbs cabbage, chopped
128 ounce canned tomatoes
64 cups water
Directions
  1. combine all ingredients in large (16qt) soup pot and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

  2. season to taste - husband likes to use hot pepper sauce.
