Who in the hell approved the move to change the green flavor in Jujyfruits from MINT to LIME?!

There was a strategy to eating my favorite candies.  First, throw out or give away all the licorice flavored ones.  Next, eat in order red, yellow then orange.  All green ones were left for last since they were mint and you know how mint can ruin the taste of whatever you eat after it.

Now?  No more!  It's LIME!  LIME?  How lame!  Way to stand apart form the pack.

Maybe it was just the box I got from the 99cent grocery store!  Yeah, that's it!  That's why it was in that store.  A defect.  Some stupid EX-employees idea of a sick joke!

Sniff.  Well, it wasn't funny.  I want my minty ones back.  Sniff.

hehe this reminds me of the epsiode of seinfeld where Elaine stops for a box of jujy fruits after she finds out her date is in the hospital.

I bet hers had minty green ones!  ;O)

Lime seems like a weird flavour to switch to.

I guess they wanted to stick to the fruit theme.  Still doesn't fit with the black licorice pieces.

Came into work today and my stash was invaded!  I am so pissed.  I thought I worked with adults but nope!  I work with thievesYell

does anyone actually like those gross licorice flavors? everyone i know always throws them out. and as far as i'm concerned they're selfishly taking some better flavor's placeYell

I agree!

Actually, on father's day I went to the movies with my husband & 2 boys and my 5 year-old sucked the licorice ones down like they were going out of style!  My sister likes them too...blechFrown.  I like cherry licorice.  I can suck down a tub of Red Vines like nobody's business!  Hey..they're fat free!!!

Im surprised one ever was mint - dont eat/like the texture of them but I hate mint, have to buy the special kiddie non-mint toothpaste and would think a mint jujyfruit would make the rest taste mint because its such an overpowering flavoring.

And why did someone have to mention licorce cuz now Im wanting licorice!

My friend loves a strong anise flavor to his candy, drinks, just about anything so there are people out there...  they just are rare, as he is the only one I know.  Personally, I think they are horrid and can not even stomach the idea of enjoying them.

Funny, but because of their waxy outer coating no mint ever transferred to the other ones.  I always saved them for last.  Like an after dinner mint!
