Quote  |  Reply

Hello again!

I hope you all had a fantastic week, it's been a little hectic for me so I haven't been as involved in this posting as much as I've hoped to be.

Here's the new thread for the weigh in for week 3, for those of you who have forgotten I'll be posting a new thread each week to keep this semi-organized and readable! Good luck, props to those that have been doing so great, and hang in there for people who are struggling. We can all make it, it's still the beginning!

Hi. this weeks loss is 2 pound, making total of 9 pound in first two weeks. i mentioned on weeks 2 thread that i was due to weigh in at my local pharmicists but ther scales were out of commission. this figure was the result of using others scales, so once i the pharmacy scales are fixed i will check again

2nd week weigh in

SW:148

W1:146.4

W2: 148

GW:129

:( i gained everything back....reasons: i was travelling for 45+hrs between Wed and Monday...with less than 48 hrs at my destination--my house for my little sister's graduation.  Airport food is yuck...and i have to eat whatever my mom gives me (which wasn't the healthiest).  Additionally I got sick on Saturday, so exercise during the past week was nil. ugh. depressed.  I'm feeling a lot better so i think i'll start exercising again today...hopefully by next week i can at least make it back to 146.

After losing nothing last week, I'm proud to announce that I've taken off two pounds for this week. Thank God. I'd like to take off three for this next week, and since I've started a new exercise plan, I have faith that I will. Wish me luck! Good job, everyone....

I only lost 1/2 pound this week.  I have been working out more and been very good with my eating.  I think I may have had my activity level set too low and had too much of a deficit, so I've upped my activity level which gives me another 100 calories to eat.  Hopefully I'll see a bigger loss at the end of this third week.

I'm getting Turbo Jam from the library soon and I'm looking forward to trying a new workout.

Well, here's to week three, good luck everybody!

Wow Cori...that's impressive!  Keep up the great work all!

Last week was the first week I really upped the activity level...which also meant upping the food intake.  I lost a pound...and I'm not dissapointed with it.

2nd week weigh in

SW: 172

CW:170

I lost 2 pounds - I wanted to lose 3 and get below the 170 mark but I'm ok with what I lost.  Next week, I'll be below 170!  It's been soooo hot here in the northeast that I hope a pound or two is "puffy" weight.

the weeks are flying by. ekk!

2nd week weigh in

SW:139.8

W1:137.3

W2: 133.8

GW:119

i did beautifully all week and weekend.. until sunday i had a mini-binge but only gained .5 lbs. lost 1 more lb than last weeks weigh in and i plan to keep up the good work. the national guard has me working 12 night shifts on top of my civilian job this week, so hopefully i will be too busy to consider breaking my diet.

Stayed the same this week, despite sticking to my cals and exercise routine, but can't be disappointed after last week! I have changed my gym routine and reduced my cals slightly so hope to see a good loss next week to make up for it.

i gained weight people i over did it on the weekend so back to phase 1 on my sbd plan i am so ashamed of myself but i am doing better.

I did horrible this week guys.. :( For Week 1 of this challenge I started out with a 3.2 lb loss, but I ate so much junk during Week 2 that I gained back 2.1 of it. *sigh* but I'm trying to look on the bright side and realize that at least I didn't gain ALL of it back, right?? I think I'll also just post my net loss for this week's weigh-in to help keep myself staying positive. And as for this week, it's time to get back on track!!

Week 2

SW: 151.1 lbs

CW: 150.0 lbs

NET LOSS: 1.1 lbs

Congratulations everyone!! Hang in there!! I know I'm working hard to stick with it this week!!

Not a good week for me, That time of the month and all that fluid  YUCK

Plus it seems that this week I just haven't been paying attention in general. This weekend will be a challenge as I'm going away.  Oh well...better luck next week!

This week I only lost 1 lb. This weekend was hard, went to a graduation party with ridiculous amounts of food. I didn't really eat that much of it, but it was very high calorie. Had to work overtime at work a lot so that made me tired and I didn't  get to the gym as much as I would have liked.

week 2

Sw: 130

wk1: 128

wk2: 126.8

i lost 1.2 ponds and i could have done better but i ate too many chips ahoy cookies over the weekend and it affected my lose but this week will be better and hopefully i do 2wice as better, good job to everyone keep up the gr8 work! always work hard because you'd rather lose anything than gain.

update;  so i thought i had gained all my weight back, and then the next day i weighed myself and i was UP another lb!  but today i was back down to 146.8 (.4 up from my last week weigh in), so i'm hoping those lbs were water/travel weight and once i was regulated again it went away.

finally over being sick, so tonight i hit the gym!!

I finally have a minute to surf the web so I thought I'd come on here and see how everyone was doing. I'm officially now on "vacation" and loving being away from work and back home to the ocean. But I'm doing well and eating is in control. It can really be anywhere you go, but I understand now how hard it is when you're social eating! Will power, will power.

Anyways, I just wanted to encourage you guys!! I've been fluctuating in my weight as well as some of you and have been back up to 153 at one point... hate that deceiving water weight. So... we'll all see on tuesday!

Let's keep up the good work... in which I mean the good effort we put in :)

Help aaaargh

i need to be reassured i have not screwed up!, i know i ain't, but i need telling i think. if that makes sense. i started my programme on 28th May and have thus far lost 10 pounds. but today i have been very down after my relationship ended, and as alcoholic in recovery i knew all the dangers that were lurking. i tell myself that at times of great stress i need choose a bar of chocolate over a drink every time, and thats what i did, big time. now i feel crap about. i can be a bit obsessive over figures and never going below A on analysis has become a big thing. anyway to get the point, my day will be over in two hours and at present my calories eaten are a huge 3100. now i have cycled around 12 km today as well as some stationary biking and my Burn meter gives me 3620 by end of day. so its probably more about my "head" saying i have failed, than the figures. so really i need a bit of reassurance i guess. thanks guys

a disheartened but still sober Geoff UK
