2nd week weigh in

*Not quiet sure... I haven't weighed myself in a week because there isn't any scale! I'll update it when I know... but I've been relaxed so I'm sure I haven't lost any. Back to reality in 6 days :( Then I'll get down to business!!

Lost it a bit last week, but going strong this week, and feeling all the better for it! I don't know if I can actually do 2lbs a week like I wanted, but as long as I get there eventually, I'll be a happy camper!

disaster but as expected, was very down so spent two days making myself sick on chocolate...idiot. put on three this week, but will get back on track now. total loss is 7 pound though so must not grumble i suppose

I seem to be only losing 1 lb a week... :(  I'm doing a 1,000 calorie deficit a day.. so IDK...

So.... I'm trying not to be discouraged here.  Dear old TOM is due in a few days and I can gain up to 4 lbs waterweight before that, so I'm up 1/2 lb since last week.  Hoping that by next week the scale is showing a good reduction again.

I'm not seeing the results I hoped to see though.. and I'm working pretty hard at this.  I'll wait to see what next week says though before deciding whether or not to change things around a bit.

Hubby says he's noticed changes though Cool.

so i lost the .6 this past week which is all good because i know in the long run its going to stay off rather than a quick fix. im doing good this week and i know by next tuesday i'll see better results so im going to work the pounds off and indulge in some healthy eating. Everyone has done soo great in being motivated and staying positive, doing this challenge was probably the best thing because i have something to look to each week by sharing the status with all of you so thank you everyone and keep up the work!! good luck to all.

was 126 last week went up 1 pound but have my dear old period starting yesterday so fiqure my gain is from that will be able to see the change next week hopefully

Keep at it everyone!  I know it's frustrating, but rememeber the less fat you have and the less you have to lose...the slower the weight is going to come off.  1-2 lbs per week is healthy weight loss so be proud! 

Lol...I'm using today for my weigh in.  Had a rough week last week, but things will be better this week.  :)

Okay. I'm at the same number that I was at last week. HMM. No loss the first week. 2 lbs the second week. Nothing this week. But I did have some champagne and wine last night - was celebrating so no guilt there - so maybe it's water weight from the alcohol. Will weigh again tomorrow and see if there's a change, but if not, I refuse to be upset about it! It will be different next week!

Glad everyone's still around and working hard! Keep it up, team!

Week 3 weigh in

I stayed the same at 170 - didn't lose anthing.  I'm not exercising as much as I should - actually not at all.  So I think my eating is ok - keeping to around 1300 calories - so I haven't gained - but at my age I really need to add the strength training for my bones and increase my aerobics for my overall endurance and heart health.    I leave for Florida a week from Thursday - so if I can get under the 170 mark by then, I'll feel a lot better about putting on a bathing suit - which I have avoided trying on.  I'm 12 pounds lighter than last summer, so maybe I won't have to wear my "fat" suit. 

I also want to add my congratulations to everyone who lost this week and everyone who is sticking with this challenge to the end.

The scales at my gym are broken at the moment but I have definately gone down another couple of pounds this week.  I will hopefully get a more accurate reading next week if the scales are fixed!

Whoohoo! I'm so happy that I actually lost this week, I was afraid that I'd either maintain or gain due to a total binge day at a Father's Day BBQ, but I lost !! I'm kind of wondering if that over-day might have actually helped a little? I don't know that they've proved the "tricking metabolism" theory quite yet though.

Unfortunately I would have had a much greater number of total pounds lost if it wasn't for my bad week of birthday parties during Week 2, but I'm still glad I'm losing. Also, these threads appear to be getting shorter each week, where did everybody go?

Congratulations to those who lost, and congratulations to everyone for still sticking with it !!! :)
