Welcome to week 7. Week 7? How in the world did that happen? 

And how in the world am I still this weight?

Four pounds in how many weeks? Positive thinking. I just want to see 145 again. Really badly.

 

Okay, so I think this week we should all post something we're going to commit to for this one week, or something we need to change or get rid of. 

For example, I'm committing to not have any sugar this week.

Well, I managed to get myself some new scales and they showed that I had been under estimating my weight loss a little bit!  I know I didn't really lose 4lb this week but I have been good with the exercise so maybe 3lb this week and 1lb from last week.

I have committed to swimming 30 lengths of the pool every day this week (except Saturday when I take my daughters swimming) and give the gym a rest.   

Colorado Sunshine peeks 'round the corner, slinks into the room, quickly enters this weeks stats and runs away... FAST!

Hehe, all kidding aside, I was glad for at least the 1/2 pound gone this past week.  I was SO bloated all of last week it was really depressing, and my scale went up a pound with all the bloat.  I don't know WHY I was so bloated, but anyway... it's GONE!  Smile

Alright.  For this one week I am committed to doing a workout every day.. I have really been slacking.  Off to the library for now.. workout when I get home!

Congrats to everyone who is still with us, especially marlasboy and mathster2005, wow, good job!!!

Hmmmm...what to do differently this week.....well, I definitely need to change something. let's see....cutting out sugar sounds like a good plan. might just have to try that one. that would mean I'd have to cut out alcohol too, and that's what's been killin me so far. so I'll try that and see if it makes a difference. I'm also going to up my water intake to try and drop those two annoying pounds that HAVE to be water...

I didn't lose anything this week... I was not being strict about counting my calories and  there were brownies and cookies and cook outs for the 4th..   so this week I am back to strict counting..  need to detox from last week..

Hey Everyone....

I realize I disappeared for like 5 weeks...

SW: 149.5

I have been really busy lately at work and haven't had time to look at CC.  But I HAVE been keeping up with my Triathlon Training...I was able to run 4 miles without stopping last week!! (Personal milestone).  And I am up to riding 14 miles on my bike on a regular basis (a few times/week....1hr to complete the 14 miles with traffic stops and go's)  Even though I haven't lost a lot of weight, I feel better and think I look better.  I'm not planning on hitting the 20lbs by July 31st, but I think I might hit 135 by the time my Tri comes around (then only 6lbs more!!)

I'm committing to doing more than my training schedule calls for every day this week.

Alright! Still here! Still at the same weight! But at least I've dropped 5 pounds....sigh....it's going really slowly, but I do definitely have a deficit every week. Sometimes a big one. It's weird. I actually kinda thought I'd screwed up lst week and it turned out I still had a 3500 calorie deficit. Scale did not show it though. I have been increasing my strength training (I know I say that all the time, but that's bc I keep increasing it) and considering that I had obliterated all of my muscle mass last year due to an accident that left me motionless for months, I am assuming that I am just building a lot of muscle. That's what it feels like anyway. I can actually see some muscle forming and my clothes keep fitting better, so...can't really complain.

who knows, maybe the liposuction fairy will make a visit some time before July 31st and I'll reach that 150...
