Did an 80mi bike ride the other day through rural farmlands. So great, good for the soul. Now I'm so sore and sunburned I can hardly move. Remind me to train up to that before I go cycling into the sunset next time.
Feeling a little bit better, but honestly disappointed I haven't lost much. I'm trying to get over the number thing though, and give myself some credit that I've still been actively trying the last 7 weeks. Just not as hard as I could/should and hopefully will. This week I'm cutting out gluten and dairy. I think I'm having food sensitivities and that in turn is causing me to crave those foods when I eat them. That could also explain my stomach issues I've had for a year and a half. I'm about to make a move and job switch and that's all really unnerving and scary to go into the unknown again. Trying NOT to eat my way through that. There are better things in life.

Hm... up 1/2 pound since last week. A few days before the arrival of TOM so I'm surprised I haven't gone up even more. So this week's weigh in and probably next week's is not a true reflection of my weight.
Did good this past week, currently trying to deal with the hunger issues I get just before TOM where I feel like eating *everything* in sight!
Got some good workouts in this past week, and have taken up kayaking on the weekends, now that's a great workout!
cori-jessy, keep your chin up, the 5 pounds we've lost is still five pounds... if we hadn't started this challenge then maybe those 5 lbs would still be sticking to us. Good luck with the move and new job.
don't get down on yourself :) I'm at 144.4 which means i'm only down 5lbs too....and i've been working my ass off (sadly, not literally). I haven't been UBER strict on my diet....but i have been working out ~6days a week, fairly intensely. i think our bodies are just holding on for dear life to the lbs....i think eventually all of a sudden we'll drop a ton. instead of this "20lbs by July 31st" I've been reevaluating and am aiming for 15 by Aug 23 (my triathlon date)...so i'm about 10lbs away in 6 weeks...as long as you're consciously trying, you should be proud of yourself--there are a million reasons why you might not be seeing the numbers go down.

Swam almost everyday last week and it paid off with a loss of 4.6lb! Really pleased it worked but I am giving swimming a rest this week so will see what happens.
Well done to everyone still sticking it out. Can't believe it is only another 2 weeks until the 31st July!
