Haven't been doing as well as I had hoped but I've started exercising again and am back to logging most days.  I'm hoping by the time this challenge ends I will at least be back to my start weight or below so I can start Heavenly's next challenge on a positive note.

Sept 06: Travel (09/11 - just checking in to see how well folks are progressing or hanging tough. CONGRATS to all. Just spent a week in Germany, so no weigh-ins. Although I'm comforting myself that at most I've picked up 1.5 pounds (whoo hoo!). German beer must be a miracle drink considering the quantity I consumed, ha ha! Of course, all the walking around may have helped, and I did make some intelligent food choices (how strange!) but it's more fun to pretend that beer and pretzels has dietetic qualities.)
Sept 13: 170.3 - Way-A-OK after a couple weeks of on and off the road. Time to get back to tracking!

August 3: 148.0 - I ate everything in sight this weekend.  I'm pretty excited that I maintained for the week.

August 11:  152.0  I find it amazing that 3-4 days of eating what I want (vs eating what I need) will lead to a 4 pound gain.  It's so easy for me to be "good" during the week and so easy for me to just completely give in on the weekends.  And there's always an excuse.  It's my birthday.  My husband wanted to eat pizza.  Went to a Jimmy Buffet Concert.  In the middle of moving.  I guess I know what I need to work on....

August 17: 151.5  Recommitting today....

August 24: 147.0  Started working out again this morning.  Challenging myself (and others) to work out 2 more times before the next weigh in.

August 31:  147.0 Maintained from last week.  I'm calling that a minor victory.  Only worked out 2 times last week.  Shooting for 3 times this week.  I'd like to get back to the 4 times a week I was working out before I moved.

September 8:  147.0  Still maintaining.  That's got to count for something.  Right?

I've reached my mini-goal of being in the 130's for weight!!  I have been riding my bicycle to school and around town to do my errands during the week.  I can tell that has helped with my exercise.  I now have two friends I walk with during the week, so I'm getting some cardio in there as well.  I haven't made it back to the gym just yet, but I've got my Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit back and plan on starting there.  I think I will save the gym for winter and rainy days.  What I'm doing now is working, according to the scale!!

Next week, I thought might be a time for everyone to make an entry about their journey.  How it has effected there life, changed the way they look, feel, exercise, eat anything.  If you are like me . . . with a yo-yo ( I quite expect to be up). How staying on this journey has benefited you.   For me the friends that I made here has been wonderful. One has even followed me from my personal journal to this journey.  Auguette.  Thanks.
My new computers network card died. About my journey: I haven't been logging food religiously but when I do I find I am under calorie limits.  My body swells and I haven't quite figured that out yet.  My sodium is around 1600-2300mg.  I recently suffered some back pains so I have been laid up.
