7/3 - 3 miles / 6 miles total || goal: 200 miles / 194 miles to go
This does not bode well. Day 3 and only 6 miles walked (that’s only 2 miles per day average). This long weekend is away visiting family with very little, if any, real opportunity to walk.
Heat, mosquitoes, incessant and incredibly annoying horse flies, and a mom who likes to see me eat, is going to make this a challenging weekend indeed. I won’t be back home and with my normal routines until the 6th. That will leave me only three weeks to meet my very high goals for walking, rowing, and weight loss.
This will be an interesting month with all my challenges.
Did another unexpected 4 miles after supper last night. Today: 1 mile this morning and 2.6 miles this afternoon for a total of 3.6 miles today. My new totals:
87.99 miles - 4 miles last night = 83.99 miles to go
83.99 miles - 3.60 miles today = 80.39 miles to go
I expect my miles to slow down this weekend, we have a 3-day weekend for the holiday so I am hoping for 3 miles each day. I am still trying to figure out the whole weight-loss maintenance thing and since I just polished off a large bowl of ice cream I am a little freaked out at the moment!

No freaking out allowed
. Even if you run into problems while you're learning how to maintain, you can always revert back to weight-loss for a while; at least until you get things figured out.

Still at my maintenance weight of 145, even after my jinormous bowl of ice cream! I guess there is room for an occasional treat if I keep up my exercise!

Another day with no official walking - just push-up/planks. While I'm pleased about the push-ups, I need to get my butt in gear about the walking. It was my dad's birthday, so big dinner out tonight. I'd really like to know how the restaurant makes steak have twice the calories it has at home. Except that I kind of don't want to know. It was *good* though!
