100 miles = 3.2 miles per day
50 miles = 1.6 miles per day
I keep track of my walking through http://www.mapmyrun.com/ , but you can also use a pedometer as well.

July 6: 3.57 miles (70.46 - 3.57 = 66.89 miles to go)
July 7: 6.40 miles (66.89 - 6.40 = 60.49 miles to go)
July 8: 7. 36 miles (60.49 - 7.36 = 53.13 miles to go)
I have been trying to do a couple miles in the morning, and then a few more in the afternoon...that works better for my schedule than one big long walk would. Many of my miles are racked up from me walking laps around my yard while my kids play.

So, I managed to break my pedometer by dropping it into a puddle. Evidently, it was not waterproof. Guess I'll have to get a new one. Until then, I'm estimating (or using the distances I know for my regular walks).

Back on track today! 2.1 miles this morning and 3.2 miles this evening. This evening was tough; I stared weight training yesterday and my thighs are a little sore. Not so bad uphill, but downhill...ouch.

I spent over a week on a psychological vacation. No calorie counting, no exercise. The scale is plenty proof that this wasn't a great idea. ![]()
