Please no extreme goals for a weight loss, remain reasonable when setting your goal.  It's always better when you reach your goal.

There will be 10 weigh ins, on FRIDAYs. 

**Beginning weight will be your weight on May 1st, not when you sign up.**

I'm going to start this off for you all.

I'm going to shoot for a 10lb loss for this challenge.  I've had a hard time losing weight lately, but I'll not give up though.

Hi there!

I'm in!  I've been hoping to find a good late-spring, early summer challenge, so the dates on this are perfect for me.  I've lost about 80 pounds so far, and that 100 pound milestone is getting so close I can smell it.  I would absolutely love to get there by the end of July (my birthday), but we'll see how feasible that is as the summer moves along.  Anyway, I'll post a start and goal weight on the 1st.

I'm going to go for 13lbs.  Maybe 13 could be my lucky number Laughing   I don't know what my beginning weight will be for the challenge yet but I should meet a big milestone/goal if I meet my 13 lbs by July 3rd goal.  I'll be the weight I haven't been since I started dating my husband in 2006 Kiss. It will be a very hectic time in my life, i'll be visiting family for the month of may and then for June we'll be getting my husband ready to deploy....
I'll post more around the beginning of the challenge.

I definitely want to do this! I'm shooting for 10 pounds lost - I really need to lose my college weight over the summer and finals week starts may 1st. May 8th is my first day at home so these weigh ins work out really perfectly for me. Also I've had a really hard time lately - I need an extra push. 

I'm in again! I love the current group "Spring Into May Lighter Than You Are". You guys are great. And seeing as my exams begin may 1st as well and I've been busy studying and not focusing so much on weight loss, really pushing it from may-july seems like a great idea. Maybe I can finally get to my goal weight (7 more lbs) during that time.

I wanna play! I'd like to get down to 199 by the July 3rd date! Fridays are a great day for me to weigh in on cuz we have company every weekend.

my aim will be to get down to 154 by July 3rd... rite now my aim is 168 for april end... am at 169 at the moment so it seems i'll be able to do it...

I'd like to join - I'm going for 2 pounds a week for 18 pounds total. I'm still towards the beginning of weight loss, so that should be doable.  But I need something like this for motivation!

Sign me up!!! I'm currently in the May challenge, so if all goes well and I meet that challenge goal I should have 13 lbs. left to my ultimate goal, so whatever is left on May 1st will be my goal amount. Can't wait!!! This is so great!!

If you want to join a group, just look under 'community' and click on groups.  You can check out groups for anything. 

I find the best support in the challenges.  That's why I started challenges.  You can come on here anytime.  You can vent, support others, talk about any challenge your having.  Whatever comes to mind!  We are here for ya.  We'll help you in any way we can.  :)

Walking is great!  I walk whenever I can.  It's 'my' time with noone bugging me to do something! LOL

You're so welcome!  I almost didn't do this challenge.  Mainly bc I'm having so  much trouble losing.  I was thinking, Why should I start a challenge when I can't even lose weight!  But I did it anyways.

OK, I'm in. Since we have 3 weeks left in the spring challenge, I will start at that weight with a 140 lb weight goal set for the end.

I am with you, mom, I have really struggled in the last challenge. Work and school stress has been eating me alive. Summer will be worse. That's why I figure I really need this challenge to help me stay on track with eating and exercise to blow off the stress (otherwise I may blow up!). I think the Friday weigh-in's will work better for me than Monday.

I really like these challenges. They help motivate me and guide my constant quest to quit dieting and thinking in the "diet" mode and switch over to healthy ideas. You know, even if I never lost another pound, my eating is much better than when I first joined CC in January. Processed foods have fallen by the wayside. Candy is a thing of the past. I continue to struggle with salty foods--pretzels and the salt and pepper potato chips have an unbreakable hold on me still. If we ever have the pretzel and chip challenge, I am in, too.
