June 6:  185.0.....up alittle from increasing my calories

The alli is working!!!!  I've lost from yesterday and can't wait to see how much I lose after taking it for a week.

15% is wrong.  The total of fat in a meal is not be over 30% of my calories.  I have to eat 1600 calories/day too.  I eat 17 grams of fat/meal.  I'm doing great!  No treatment effects and this is Day 4.  I do need to increase my fiber though now.  Alittle constipation happening and that's normal if you don't eat enough fiber with it.

I'm so excited to see the number on the scale going down now.  I feel this is going to do it for me.  :)

Looks like we have lost some people.  I knew that would happen with the nice weather upon us.  I remember last summer.  Hardly anyone on here!

Going on my walk now!  Take care!

July 3: ---final weigh in

Still struggling mentally and emotionally with husband's job loss.  We've had tons of rain here and I've spent way too much time sitting around stress eating.  At least I have been doing some gardening, target shooting, and a few other activities.  Bike still in garage... hopefully this week.  As you may have noticed, I've adjusted my end goal weight so I don't put so much pressure on myself.  As long as I'm taking steps in the right direction, it will be ok.  Our family has too much other stuff for me to be thinking of than for to be beating myself up over not losing quickly enough.  Weight loss is weight loss is weight loss.

KT ~ You lost alittle and that's ok.  As long as you see some kind of loss.  don't beat yourself up though.  You've got a lot going on and that alone can hinder weight loss.....stress!  I'm sure you'll work on things and you'll be back to yourself again.

I've now been on Alli for 4 days and so far so good.  I'm happy with it.  Wednesday will make a week on it so I can't wait to see my loss for the week.

Went to the movies and saw Star Trek Saturday night.  Not my kind of movie, but it did keep my interest with all the action in it.  I wanted to see Angels and Demons but got out voted by the kids! LOL  So hubby and I are going Friday night to see it.  :)  Gotta love him.  He said I was a good sport for watching it, so he's gonna treat me to another night out at the movies!

Have a good week and be good!  GET UP & GET MOVING!  ;)

July 3---final weigh in

I really like the Friday weigh in:  even if I'm too indulgent over the weekend I've still got Monday through Thursday to make things up.  Unfortunately I don't get enough exercise in on Saturday and Sunday either!  Need to plan more activities like hiking and cycling over the weekend.

Hope everyone is eating well and doing lots of exercise with an eye to a successful weigh in on Friday :)

I got new trainers this weekend.  I was having some issues trying to jog, I think I turned my ankle even.  Decided that the shoes weren't helping and took my own advice.

Went to an actual running store and they went through this crazy process to determine which kind of shoe works best for me... they basically had me walk across a pad with sensors to see which parts of the foot make the biggest impact, then put me on a treadmill barefoot and taped the process to breakdown what's happening with the way the foot lands  and rolls... crazy... in either case, I ended up with a cool pair of shoes and new insoles... spent more than I wanted, but its been helping with the walking/running I think.

Once my foot is fully operational again, I think I'm gonna be set.  still a little soreness, but its working.

Just thought I'd share.

bohdan ~ That is an intense process to get the shoes, but I bet it's so worth it!  I would love to be able to do that.  I know it would help with my back and leg pain from my stupid discs.  I don't know of any of those types of stores around in my area.

FTF ~ That is exactly why I decided to have weigh ins on Friday.  Alot of ppl didn't like my Monday weigh ins during my last challenge.  I think my next challenge is just going to be a support group.  Only weigh in if you want to. Ya know? I'll have a weigh in day set, but you don't HAVE to do it.  ;)

Well, today was my daughters 22nd Birthday!  Boy am I gettin' old!  hehe  No Birthday cake here. Yay!

I'm still on my Alli and doing well.  It's so been worth buying.  It has my weight loss going now.  I'm happy.

Talk to ya'all later!  Be good all week so we can have good weigh ins.   ;)

the shop i hit is a bit of a chain.. but they're not the only ones that go out of their way to match your step to the shoe.  their process is a little more over the top than some, but any running store should be able to help you out in that regard.

I'm sure there's something around. :D  As for these guys, they may be too... you can check here:http://www.roadrunnersports.com/rrs/content/c ontent.jsp?contentId=2600003&cm_sp=header -_-anchor-_-store_locator

What a coincidence, my boss (a marathon runner) was just telling me about how important the proper shoes are.  He advised me to go to the "Running Center" and be fitted, they use the same process bohdan described :)

Alas, I've just found out I'm not going to be home on Friday!  I weighed today, but now I think it will be better to post Saturday's weight.

The Alli sounds great tryin2lose.  I'm glad it's giving you the result you needed!  Happy weigh-ins everyone.

Starting weight (on May 1st): 227

Goal Weight (on Jul 3rd): somewhere around 190 (I think 180 was a bit lofty!)

May 1: 227.0

May 8:  no clue

May 15:  224.0

May 22:  218.5 (yeah! broke double deuces for the first time in 3-4 years!)

May 29: 219.5 (was a baaaaad girl Wednesday and it shows!)

May 29: 216.5 (wasn't but a few pounds a good long walk couldn't take care of!)

June 5: 213 (didn't stay there long, bad weekend, but now I am back)

After a week on Alli, I've lost a little.  Not saying how much.  You'll see in my next weigh in! LOL  It's less than my last weigh in....that's all I'm saying!  hehe

FTF ~ See you on Saturday then!  Going away on business, or pleasure?  Either way, be safe.  :)

LESLAZZ ~ Nice weigh in!!!  Keep up the good work, ok?  Weigh in again on Friday.....don't forget.

hey guys, would anyone care if i used thursday as my weigh-in day instead of friday for this week, because I am going out to a club and will be drinking.. I havn't gone out like this since January but my friend begged me and I rarely hangout wtih her anymore so I said yes.  But I know if I weigh myself on Friday my weight will be way up and I'm going to get really upset and discouraged (even though I know it's not REAL weight) it will just still really bother me.  Anyone have any objections?

Weigh in on Thursday if you want xxana.  Then you'll have several days to recover and lose some more :)

I'm weighing in on Saturday this week cuz I'm going away--for fun!
