have fun :) I weighed myself this morning but I am not going to post my weight because I actually might not be going out anymore tonight bc of the weather, so if that happens I'll just weigh in tomorrow like usual, or post my weight for today later on when I figure out whats going on!

ha, its ok xxana, I'll weigh in today in your place.  tomorrow's gonna be a busy morning so I'm doing mine today rather than risking forgetting.. that and, I'm stoked after the scale this morning... gotta love the way water weight flies right off during a jog or bike ride :D  The numbers may be extremely lower than they should be at the moment, but it feels good sometimes :D

XXANA ~ you can post your weight early.  It's ok with me.  A day early or a day late never bothers me.  It's when ppl weigh in 5 days late, bc when they weigh themselves on Friday they don't like what they see, is what bothers me.  What's the point of weighing in then?  LOL

BOHDAN ~ Don't be discouraged when you weigh in next week heavier than this week.  Since you said yourself it's water weight from exercising you lost.  Just keep that in mind next week. :)

I'm looking forward to tomorrow.  Can't wait to weigh in and see that number!

"See" you all tomorrow! Hopefully there will be more weigh ins than last week. We lost alot of ppl.  I know it's the nice weather and ppl spend less time on the computer and more time outdoors. 

yeah, I'm expecting it.  I do cardio almost daily though, so its possible that it might not show back up next week. :D 

If you look at my numbers... may 1st and june 5th were two days I didn't have time to exercise...

Wow looks like everyon is have a really good weigh in this week!  It's very motivating to be part of this group and seeing everyone succeed :) I don't want to jinx myself but I think I am finally through my 3 week plateau- I took up the "eat more" theory and it seems to be working amazingly!  There's still a chance I might actually make my goal if my weight loss keeps at this rate, but I will be pretty excited when I get to 136 because that will mark the first 10 pounds as DONEZOOO! woooo!!! I thought my weigh in was going to be way up this morn because my dinner last night was a couple onion rings- my boyfriend and I went out to eat and my stomach was all gassy for some reason so a salad wasnt really too appealing to me but I ordered one anyways and we got a side of onion rings so I just ended up picking at those.  Dessert was cookies haha 5 of them, it seems that everytime I 'mess up' I end up losing weight because I binged last saturday night on waffles (6 of them) putting my intake for the day around 2400 calories and I didnt weigh on sunday or monday but on tuesday I had lost a pound, and I lost .4 since yesterday eventhough I ate bad today.  Sorry for the rambling haha, I am just having a really good morning :) hope everyone's weigh ins continue to be successful!

Bad week!  Will keep trying! 7.2# in 3 weeks is a stretch!  But it is possible!

May 1 - 156.6 (really hope to hit goal half way thru, but who knows.)

May 8 - 156.4 (been stressful around here, but it's better than a gain!)

May 15 - 153.8 (WOW! guess i was holding more water than i thought)

May 22 - 161.2 (I was camping so this is today's weight, the 26th. hopefully some of it is water weight, although i did drink a fair amount of alcohol... )

May 29 - 155.6 (yea, it was at least partly water weight!)

June 5 - 153 (there's a chance that i'll make my goal this challenge!)

June 12 - 155 (or not, i'm starting to think that 155 is where my body is happy)

I looked at everyone's stats. Stick with it guys. You can do it. You all know that we go up and down on this road, but it is worth it.

I personally hate when the scale stalls or goes up. I think back to realize if I cheated or if there are other reasons. As you can easily see, I lost 3 lbs this week. At 51 years of age, I really don't think that's a long term loss. I totally expect to be up next week since I have been sick as a dog this week. I am prepared, but I won't be sucked into the woe is me tricks. I won't starve. I will try to exercise, but probably at a slower pace than past weeks since I am still recovering. However, I won't binge in burgers, placate myself in pizza, or indulge myself in ice cream or donuts. I just keep on the path that has worked for me so far.

I am back in grad school courses--two this semester. The difference this semester:  I am a priority. I will exercise daily even if it's a lot less than what I have been doing. I will log my food. I will log my deficits. I will keep on encouraging and being encouraged my this wonderful community of kindred spirits.

I wish everyone a good weekend. Enjoy. Make yourself a priority, too. And most important, don't be driven to make choices that will hurt you. You are the most important you that ever existed. Never minimize your contribution.

I am getting a late start, but better late than never, right?  Because I am starting so late, my goal is pretty modest  . . . 6 lbs. total (134) by the July 3rd weigh in.  I am training to run a 1/2 marathon at the end of the summer and need a little motiviation not to let myself go off the rails food-wise just because I am exercising more consistently than usual.  I also really want to get just a bit closer to my goal weight & enjoy the summer and feel like I'm trying to be the best I can be and not beat myself up every time I put on a bathing suit. (-:  I hope this is the motivation I need to move the scale just a bit down since it has been STUCK in the same place for far too long!!!

I would just like to thank Tryingtolose and everyone else here for their support and words of encouragement. The Friday weigh-ins are great because, as one member said, I can blow it and still have the rest of the week to make it up! However, I chose not to blow it last night while at a neice's grad party and ate when I got home. Although, I forgot when I came home that there was nothing but oatmeal for me to eat! LOL

Off to go grocery shopping, hope you all have a good week and see you next Friday!

LESLAZZ ~ Your Welcome!  You are doing awesome. 15 pounds you've lost since we've started this challenge.  That's something to be so proud of.  Passing up the food at the party takes will power and obviously, you have alot of it.  Stay the course and you'll get to your goal in no time! 

As a way to make me feel better about myself I am going tomorrow to get my hair colored.  The salon my daughter works at is holding a class with a special guest from NYC on hair color.  So I'm her model for the class.  He will consult with me and suggest the best color for me.  I can't wait to be pampered tomorrow.  I have to turn down the bagels!!!!  They will have fruit there, so that's what I will eat.  ;)

Hope everyone's weekend is going well!  Mine has been low fat and I've been happy!  Now if ttom will just go away so I can weigh myself again! LOL
