TTL: How did your hair turn out? I figured out today that 15 lbs is 20% of the weight I want to lose! Woo Hoo!. I am going to treat myself to some new face/anti-wrinkle creams as it would be pretty useless to lose this weight only to be replaced by a gazillion wrinkles.

I would have done the hair thing, but already had my annual cut, style, color, highlight, glaze done a couple of weeks ago. It is great, hasn't been this short in years!

I love my hair!  She used 2 colors.  A brown with gold in it and red with gold in it and mixed them together.  Indoors it looks dark brown and then when the light hits it, you can see the red.  It's gorgeous!  The best color I've ever had.  I'm keeping it this color.  The ugy that as there who was teaching them a new technique asked me in the consultation if I wanted my hair to whisper, talk or scream! LOL  I said TALK!  No screaming here!!!  LOL

I'm getting a hair cut next Wed and then I'll post a picture of the finished look!  I'll have to go outside so everyone can see the red. :)

My daughters boss said I shouldn't go short.  Where I am is a good length.  Just cut my ends and shape it up.  I'll listen to him since he knows what he's doing.  His name is Stephen Szabo.  He travels all over the world and his hair cuts are $300!  I wish I could afford him! LOL

I'm still losing weight too!  The Alli is working.  I'm so glad it's doing its job, and so well!  I can't wait to get back down to my lowest weight.  It shouldn't be too long.  It's a shame I gained back about 15 lbs.  That was stupid!  But atleast I stopped the nonsense and I'm back on track. Right?

Have a good week and stay on course so we can have another good weigh in on Friday.  :)

Congrats on the hair color! Sounds wonderful! I am heading up to the Tahoe cabin this week and not sure if I will be around for the weigh in (I can sometimes piggy back off the neighbor's internet). But I am bringing my trusty kitchen scale!

I bought a bathing suit last year that I liked, well actually two, one I didn't like so much (my granny suit) and after this last weigh in, I decided to try the smaller and cuter suit on, just to see. It Fits! My daughter even said it looked good on me (and we all know how hard it is to get a teenager to say that something looks cute!) I am ecstatic!! I can now go to Wild Island and not have to hide away in the bar all day. I think I may even go on one of the water slides or at least the big wave pool, I'm not sure if I can work up the nerve yet for one of those huge slides that stand taller than some of the casinos in Reno. (At least they look that tall to me!)

Good Luck to everyone here, and I gotta say, these little sacrifices we make on a daily basis are WAAAAAAY WORTH THE FEELING I HAVE RIGHT NOW!

Yippee!Laughing

*sung to the tune of neener, neener, neener*

I'm going to the water park and I don't have to hiiiiiiide

^^^^LOL^^^^

Goal, what goal?!? I don't remember no stinkin goal!

*secretly hoping no one goes back to my first post with the lofty and huge goal*

I am going to have to weigh in tomorrow folks, I am leaving for Tahoe on Friday, really early. Probably won't have time for my morning constitutional' as my dad so eloquently put it. Hope that is ok with all of you. I'll be back in time for next week's weigh in for sure. (Not sure if I am going to post it though, LOL) We'll see.

You can weigh in tomorrow.  No problem. Have fun in Tahoe!

Well, you all know I'm using Alli to help me get to my goal.  This evening I've experienced my first TE's.  Lets just say I'm spending some time in the bathroom! LOL  That's what I get for eating a whole bag of Popcorn!  Too much butter on it!  At least I know it's working. :)

I'm hoping I lose some more weight by Friday's weigh in.  I'll be happy if it's just a pound. I have to keep losing.  I'm crossing my fingers that it will happen for me.

Good luck everyone!  :)

Woo Hoo! Weinershnitzel here we come! It's just not a trip to the cabin without stopping in Auburn for a chili cheese dog... or two!Wink I secretly count my lucky stars there isn't one here. I'd be big as a house! No willpower when it comes to dem chili cheese dogs!

Have a great week everyone and wish me luck!

T2L: That's what I heard about Alli, I was really tempted to try it until I found a forum that real people were talking about the side effects and successes of people that are/were using different diet aids. Some of those diet aids out there are quite scary, Alli seemed to have the least detrimental side effects. Just be sure you drink lots of water, you have to rehydrate when that happens.

Am not surprised to see the scale increase a bit. I have been working out for the past 6 weeks really hard and am up to 20+ miles per week of elliptical or treadmill. Even walk/ran yesterday at a 4 mph walk and 5 mph run for a total of 5 mi. We will see what next week says.

Good luck to all.

You have lost almost 3 pounds in 3 weeks. Your goal was quite ambitious and it might not be best to lose as fast as it would take to meet it now.  But about a pound a week is good progress and you are moving downward!  It naturally slows down after initial faster loss.  Keep at it!
