How's everyone one their start weight? I'm at mine, but I'd like to start at an even 130, even though i said 131 would be my start.

I'm so excited to see so many join up for the challenge!!!!  WOW!!!!  Laughing I didn't think there would be so many with the nice weather approaching us. Noone has time for the computer when its so nice to be outside.  I'm happy and hope everyone sticks with it.

I can't wait for Friday to get here!!!  Good job EECHIE!!!  You have all week to get to 130.  I said you don't have to say a starting weight when you signed up, for that reason.  Whatever weight you are on Friday is your start weight. No pressure here. Wink

Had my 1st high calorie day on my zigzag schedule and loved it!  So today back to 1300 and it feels weird.  I want to eat like I did yesterday. Hmmmm  maybe the zigzagging isn't a great idea.  I'll try to control myself though. Sealed

I'll be jumping in here, too.  Starting weight will depend on where I'm at when I finish up the Spring into May challenge.

Went for a walk today.  Just a short one bc it's so hot out and I was sweating like crazy.

Woke up this morning not feeling well.  I got so lightheaded this morning.  I thought I was gonna pass out.  I ate and felt fine afterwards.  I'm eating plenty, but maybe there was to much time in between when I last ate yesterday and when I got up out of bed!  Which was 11:00am and I last ate 7pm last night.  I don't like eating later than that.

I'm done eating for the day now and its 7pm.  If I feel crappy in the morning again I'll make an adjustment for a snack later in the evening.

Friday is creepin up on us......Are you ready????  LOL

Friday is getting even closer!  hahaha  I've been feeling ok.  Just the one day of being light headed.  That was weird.

Weather is cooling down now.....finally!  The storm is coming and then cooler the rest of the week.  How nice.  :)   78* today and then when the rain gets here the cold front will arrive with it.  68*F tomorrow!  WHEW!!!  Tired of 80* weather already and summer isn't really here yet.

I'm excited about starting this challenge.  Lately I had been getting a bit blase about losing weight, but I gained a few pounds on vacation.  That might be the incentive I need to get back on track.  I would love to lose about 10 lbs by July, but would be happy to just lose 5... depends on the weigh in tomorrow.  Good luck everyone : - )

Tammy the weather here is exactly the same.  I live in Ohio.  We had some unusual 85 degree weather that made me miserable.  But it's back down to a nice 69 now. :)

Oh dear...

did anyone else here have as bad a week as me (calorie-wise). I think my biggest problem is that I don't dodge social events where one is forced to eat fatty stuff. I mean... even though I wouldn't mind being the only girl who eats a small salad instead of a huge pizza (like everyone else), my friends seem to prefer eating at places where they don't even know how to spell "salad", let alone how to prepare one.

So my starting weight is a little higher (on the other hand, what you gain fast you loose fast, right?) and I'm curious to see if I can still reach my goal weight by July. Anyway, I'm really excited and can't wait to start and share with you guys.

Anyway, I know exactly what you're talking linguana about not dodging social events that will entail eating fatty food. It just doesn't seem smart to me - like I'm living my life not a diet and I'm only 2 pounds in the overweight category so I shouldn't be ruining my life to get thin. I've done pretty well this week because it was the last week of classes (I'm a college student) so there was a lot of studying going on. My days went up - breakfast - gym - class (with lunch somewhere in there)- library - dinner - library.

Yesterday was a "cheat" day though - I had a treat lunch (sandwich on a multigrain baguette with grilled chicken, guacamole, brie cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes) - probably a solid 500 cal (not hugely fattening, they were light on the guac and brie, but still a cheat compared to my normal lunch of raw peppers and hummus, grilled chicken breast, and a large spinach salad on the side with fat free balsamic vinaigrette. Then I cut back on my snack and only had a kashi tlc bar (140 calories) instead of something more substantial like I usually have (200-300 cals is usually my snack alottment). Then for dinner I cheated again - I went to an outdoor concert with my friends adn we went to a sandwich place for dinner so I had turkey and brie on cranberry bread. Mmmmm soo good - also probably 500 calories - AND I had this one with a side of steak fries. And for desert - my two friends and I split GINORMO cookie. Then later I was walking back with my friends and they all stopped for ice cream and snacks - I got a small nonfat frozen yogurt but it was still probably about 200 calories. All in all, I probably ate at maintenance - not TERRIBLE but not good considering yesterday was also a rest day from the gym. I went on two 45 minute or so walks and i was jumping around and dancing at a concert - but still, not so good. I'll have to be good the rest of the weekend since I used up my cheat day on thursday!

How is everyone else dealing with the weekend ahead?

Oh how I wish my starting weight was lower.  Last July I was 249 and that was after a 30 pound weight loss.  I am so bummed.

Well I want to get back to that if not lower.  So my Goal weight is hopefully not a long shot.  I need to have less junk laying around in my office and at home.

I was originally going to go for 2 pounds a week, but my weight loss has slowed quite a bit and settled into a pattern.  So I'm going for my original July 1st mini goal weight of 250, which would give me 50 pounds tossed since January 9th!
