From "All You" magazine (June 09 issue?). This is the morning shake to drink before eating from their specified diet plan to lose 7 lbs in 7 days. Not supposed to continue the plan more than seven days...not sure about continuing just the shake which is supposed to decrease bloating...it's actually tasty!

Recipe Ingredients for Jump-start 7-day diet shake

1 cup, flat Italian Parsley, leaves and stems
1/4 cup pineapple, in own juice
1 tsp (level) ginger root, raw, minced
1/4 cup water
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tsp Honey, squeezable

Recipe Directions for Jump-start 7-day diet shake

  1. The magazine says to use 1 inch, raw ginger root, peeled and grated. I had a jar of minced and used 1 scant tsp instead. I also used bottled lemon juice instead of fresh.

  2. Liquefy all ingredients in blender, pour in a glass and enjoy!
