June 10 pound Weight Loss Challenge Continued...Lets try for another 10 in July:)

Hi my name is Jodi. I started a June 10 pound weight loss challenge and would like it to continue into July.

My weight loss journey began May, 2009 and so far I have lost 23 lbs. All due to healthy eating and exercise. Having friends to share your triumphs with and support for those unsuccessful times..has to be one of the best weight loss motivators there is. You never feel alone, because there are others like yourself out there.

So lets get together and become a TEAM to lose 10 pounds in July:)

All you have to do is join and weigh in every Monday. Then at the end of July I will post all the ending weight stats:) Come by everyday with your tips and hints for others or just let us know what is on your mind.

Keep up the great work to all!

As of 7/1: 132 lbs.  I can't wait to lose the weight! I haven't been lower than this weight in such a long time, it will be interesting to see how I'll look.

DO WE REALLY DRINK ENOUGH WATER???????

I found a site online that calculates how much water we should be drinking per day based on our weight, activity level and environment. The 8x8 (8, 8oz glasses) rule does not apply to everyone. Are you drinking too much or not enough???

As of this morning, I was 179 lbs. I'll be back Monday for another weigh in. ^_^

I am going to have a very bad weekend. I feel so bad. I have to attend 3 functions on friday Saturday and Sunday. All of them are dinner parties...OMG! I dont know How am I going to over come this battle. I feel so bad...Cry

 Don't feel bad..remember you can eat everything in moderation. Choose more salads and vegs over bread and sweets. Say no to rich sauces and gravy. You can do it..don't be discouraged:)

gajani I understand your fear. I only have one event this weekend and feel thet it might cancel all the hard work of the week... joditiki gave us some good advice, so let's follow it.

Lets' eat healthy this weekend, remember weight in is on Monday!

I am in trouble this week because my husband spilled water on my scale and ruined it and the new one shows I weigh more than the other one did.  I ate pretty good yesterday so I know that I didn't gain 2 pounds.  Oh well life goes on.

I work during the day and am on call the rest of the weekend so I will  not be indulging.  The perks on my job when you work the weekend you are on call both days all day.

 

Have a great weekend everyone.  I am off to work now and hopefully the gym for awhile afterwards.

I need to make up for the new scale.
