June 10 pound Weight Loss Challenge Continued...Lets try for another 10 in July:)

Hi my name is Jodi. I started a June 10 pound weight loss challenge and would like it to continue into July.

My weight loss journey began May, 2009 and so far I have lost 23 lbs. All due to healthy eating and exercise. Having friends to share your triumphs with and support for those unsuccessful times..has to be one of the best weight loss motivators there is. You never feel alone, because there are others like yourself out there.

So lets get together and become a TEAM to lose 10 pounds in July:)

All you have to do is join and weigh in every Monday. Then at the end of July I will post all the ending weight stats:) Come by everyday with your tips and hints for others or just let us know what is on your mind.

I'm SO excited about the changes that took place last week for me! Since I started getting my diet and exercise back on track in April, I've been losing at a snail's pace...usually losing a pound or much less each week.

Last week, I added Chalean Extreme to my workouts and decreased my carbs to 17% of my 1525 calories each day and I lost 3.4 lbs this week! Woo-Hoo!!! I'm thrilled to have finally broken out of the 180s!

Wow!  Congratulation to all of you.  I am still at 130 but I am recovering from my surgery slowly. I hope to join you all next month.

I really apologize to everyone for leaving you - I hit a plateau big time and just got stuck there.  So I've adjusted my exercise and hoping for a big surprise on Monday.  I promise I won't leave you guys again!!  I am sticking around, promise!  Congratulations to everyone who is doing so well.

My parents were in town this week and my dad asked me if I had lost weight! I'm not sure if it was because I look any skinnier or if it's just because my pants were too loose lol.  

I'm at the point now that I am okay with the way I look, so maybe that's why I've plateaued.  It also didn't help that my parents were in town last week because I didn't exercise at all... ugh.  But I am ready to work hard so I can get to where I NEED to be.  I am soooo close!!!!   

Good luck to everyone!! You can do it! Stay motivated, even if you have a bad week or two.

Overall weight loss 11lb.  Am very pleased with myself.  Have another 3lb to lose to get to target.  Am on holiday today so will have to try exercise self control! I will be back on the wagon next week, as having come this far may as well finish it off!!

Jennie - that is amazing!  I am so proud of you!! 

I've done really well the past two days and I'm proud of myself for being so motivated.  I did a class at the gym last night and it KILLED me!!!  So I'm really sore this morning.  I am hoping to have a loss on Monday but I might not since it's TTOM so I am holding onto extra water. 

Tomorrow I go to get my wedding dress altered - yay!!

July 1 weight: 177.5#

A loss of about 5 lbs/month is pretty much on par for me. Wish it were more, but I'm happy to be losing!

Ugh! Lost 3 pounds this month. Still trending in the right direction, just not as fast as I wish. Congrats to everyone who lost last month!
