Welcome to the June 2008 Weight Loss Challenge! Signups ended Monday, June 2, 8:00 pm PDT.

Information for participants:

  • Weigh ins are every Sunday. (June 1, 8, 15 and 22, and 29) If you are unable to post on that day, please do so as soon as possible. If you do not weigh in for 2 weeks, your name will be removed from the participant list.

  • Please make a new post for each weigh in, copying and pasting your previous week's info. This helps keep us current, and also bumps the thread.

  • You can also tell us about yourself (your height, start weight, age, goal weight, your program, and so on) to encourage other people to get to know you and maybe make some new friends!

  • During your updates, feel free to share how the week went for you, so we can encourage or be motivated by you!
  • If your name does not appear but you did sign up, or it is misspelled, please let me know. Also please let me know if I miss updating your weigh-in information.

My week was pretty good. No special occasions I had to get thru. But my daughters 21st B-day is tomorrow!!  Cake and ice cream, for sure! :D

I too must hit the Gym hard but I amfinding it difficult considering that I have so much to do for my wedding which is now only 8 weeks away. I had a horrible eating week last week.  Lunches, dinners, plus we had workshops at work which meant cookies and danishes.  I have to be more strict and cave when I see something sweet.   Oh well,  I guess I will have to work extra hard this week!

lost .2 hehe, ah well at least i didnt gain anything, i had a grad party this weekend , couldnt help it! plus i weighed myself last fri and i was 124, its so hard to keep up my routine durring the weekend!

I drank way too much last week, and was on TOTM. Not a good combination for weight loss. Hopefully next week I'll be going in the opposite direction.

I am really surprised I didn't gain. I ate excessively every single day this week and didn't work out at all. Well back on track from today, hope to see some big numbers for next week!

I don't know how I have gained .2 if I have been following my diet to the T.  I average 1400 calories per day (supposed to be 1350, but I don't think 50 cal over will hurt me that much).  I have been exercising more than usual (in VA it has been really hot the past few days - over 100 - and I still get out and exercise).  I know I have had a calorie deficit of >500 per day, but yet I have gained.  I hope next week is better.  Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!!!  Good luck everyone!!!

I am not so sure now about 12 pounds. I knew I was being ambitious.....this is so difficult right now for me. I guess I might not be in the right mindset. When I try really hard and stick to my gus, I am not seeing any results and it is frustrating......
