Kashi Crunchy Bars
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone eats these. I saw them at Sams and just wasn't sure if they're worth the calories. I love the Fiber One bars in general and also the Clif Zbars (half the size of the regular clif bars), especially since I sometimes have to grab lunch on the go. But, I don't know if the 180 calories are worth it. I tried the Curves 100 cal ones before and they're just so tiny that it's not worth it cause I'm still hungry after I eat it. Granted, I pair it with raisins or an apple or something that can sit in my car, but I just wanted to know what people thought of them and if they're tasty.
Thanks!
I only like the Pumpkin Spice flavour. They're quite crunchy and sometimes a little hard. I like how they have two bars in a package, so you could save 1/2 for later.
I've tried the "chewy" ones which are 130 cals and fill me for hours since they have so much healthy fat :) Never tried the crunchy but in general kashi food (specifically the somewhat high cal kashi golean crunch) is totally worth the cals to me.
I like the Pumpkin Spice ones as well. I haven't had any of the other "crunchy" flavors. I generally buy the Kashi Chewy (Trail Mix, Honey Almond Flax, and Peanut Butter). So Yummy! Oh, I just recently tried the Kashi Dark Chocolate Coconut....YUM!
i just ahd the kashi go lean crunchy chocolate caramel bar and it was delicious. I like the rice cake texture. I think the protein and fiber associated with the bar is higher than most others for such low cal(150)
The crunchy pumpkin spice ones are absolutely DELICIOUS crumbled up into oatmeal or yogurt.
I love these bars. Kashi products are exspensive and are therefore probably better to buy in bulk. I have not eaten them in a long time but I remember that I love every flavor they have. The bars tend to fill me up and they taste delicious! I love the chewy bars as well as the crunchy bars.
I LOVE these bars and because of the high fiber and protein they will actually satisfy your hunger!
i eat these for breakfast every morning at school. i find them very filling. chocolate caramel is good, but chocolate peanut is my fave. i believe the caramel is 150 cal but i noticed the bar is 40g while the choc peanut is 180 cal but 50g- so you get a little more bang for your buck
the caramel one is the only one I like- pretty impressive nutritional stats and tastes like chocolate covered caramel popcorn!
I find these to be a great mid morning snack, they are very high in protein and fiber. However they are a little high in sugar but I think they are a pretty good choice especially after a work out. Costco has them in bulk. I had the chocolate almond today 170 cal 8g protien and 5g of fiber and the chocolate caramel yesterday which is similar but 180 cal.
