Kashi Frozen Meal - SOOO GOOD

Quote  |  Reply

I don't often eat Kashi frozen meals. I know they're super good for you but I tend to find the selections from stophers (nothing lean or low fat about them, like my favorite the mac and cheese, but I count it in and eat only two a month or so, sop I do not mind one bit...so yummy), lean cuisine and others more appealing to my taste.

HOWEVER, today I had (just ate it actually) the Chicken Florentine meal. So good. Its a newer one for Kashi. Very yummy. 290 cals, 8 grams of fat, 5 grams fiber, only about 22% of daily sodium (which for frozen meals is pretty low, lol). To spice it up I melted some additional parmeson and cheddar (shredded) on top. I add cheese to many things, even if they already have some. I love cheese...A LOT.

I also ate a bunch of grapes and PB filled peanut butter nuggest. 300 is not nearly (well 290 to be exact) enough cals for me for a meal. I tend to eat larger amounts, but healthy, and I am healthy weight maintianing. I am about 5"1.5 or 5"2. I weight 110. I eat around 2200-2600 a day. That's how I maintain. I do not exercise per say, but I am very active by nature, usually daily as well. I walk alot (live downtown chicago), have a puppy who I also walk, etc....You could call me a "mover or a shaker" - haha. And in doing so I don;t have to go out of my way to excersise and I can eat pretty nice foods too!

Kashi = goodness. I think I will njow try more of their meals :)

Sorry I jumped around alot on this post...originally about Kashi! LOL. I am scatterbrained today I suppose. Ta-ta!
