Keurig coffee makers

Does anyone have one? What do you think?  Are they worth the money?   My coffee maker crapped out yesterday and I'm thinking about Keurig - saw it on TV and liked the idea of single servings (hubby doesn't drink coffee).

I have a Kuerig (gave it to myself as a Christmas present last year) and I love it.  You pick what kind of coffee you feel like drinking, they also have tea and cocoa K-cups.  I use the "homemade" K-cup most of the time, I found a really good coffee that I like, but the K-cups are pretty darn convenient.

I could never finish a whole pot of coffee and the Kuerig lets me drink coffee whenever I feel like without have to brew a whole pot.

i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove my k-cup brewer, its so convenient and quick, i dont know how i ever lived without it!

I'm interested in that too but I don't want to be committed to those little cups for the rest of my life. Just seems way more expensive that way. But hey, if it works for you....go for it. Looks very convienent.

i feel the same way, trend.  seems like a lot of packaging, a lot of waste.  and kind-of gimicky.

i have a good hamilton beech brewer and make just two mugs for myself most mornings.  if i wanted to make only one, i would buy a coffee press.

We had one where I used to work, and it was awesome.  However, I agree that it sounds much more expensive to buy the k-cups.

You don't have to use the K-cups -- you can get a little adaptor thing that allows you to use your own coffee -- filter and everything.  I haven't bought a K-cup in months.

Love it!!!!  my b'fs parents have one and we have it at work but its the industrial on that has the garbage bin in it to discard the kcups

We have one of these at work, I don't really like the garbage either. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my ex-bf is and he just makes a small pot of coffee...isn't it as simple as that? Just put less water and coffee grounds...
