My guess is that your body is truly breaking down.. your muscles may have wasted to the point where they cannot support even your tiny weight.
My heart goes out to you... =(

that is your muscles wasting away. and a very good reason to go see a doctor if you have not done so. i speak from experiance.

your muscles have deteriorated to the point where it's obviously a strain on them to even move. please, go to a doctor, you can not help yourself through this.

It's definitely time to get yourself into some kind of a treatment program.  Just eating enough calories will probably help some, but I have no idea if your body is going to work with them normally or not because you are extremely underweight.  Please see a doctor or a nutritionist to get started in a safe way.

I am sure that you know that you are in a very dangerous condition.

If that is in fact you in the picture I suggest that you get off this site RIGHT NOW and check yourself into a hospital.... although you may be eating "more"
now, it is still not enough to keep you from serious risk of heart failure or death.

please, please get help.

your picture is heartbreaking.

that is a good step in the right direction...and being in and out of treatment for so long i am sure you know this. but the sudden introduction of calories after starving for so long can actually make a lot of healthy problems visible that werent before. you could get refeeding syndrome which you may or may not have had prior to this.

if you cant do inpatient maybe you can be monitored by your general doc? this way we wouldnt have to worry about you :) hang in there, you are making such amazing progre

thank you... i know about refeeding ........ i have slowly increased over a couple of mounths from 800 so im sure im okay..... i do c a DR his not v good thou, and i get my bloods done weekly:)

Go to a BETTER doctor and be completely frank about your problems. Tell them what you have told us. That you are serious this time about getting better and need help. That your legs hurt and you are concerned. Please take care of yourself, be very persistent in getting help.

I agree with nycgirl, you're going to have to be very pushy in the current medical climate in order to get the help that you need.  You may think it's just you, but my experiences with my grandma's doctors leave me bewildered by the lack of information given to patients.  If your doctor scratches his/her head and says I just don't know, push for a specialist or a referral.  It's hard to be pushy when you're being polite, but sometimes you just have to do it, particularly when you're trying so hard to stay on track.

what are the symotoms of refeeding syndrome? just to make sure?

IN SHORT, YOU ARE DYING CALL AN AMBULANCE!

what to you mean by that ?

Excuse me, can you not understand plain, blunt english?

Your body is degenerating itself and breaking down your anatomical protein because you have been starving it.

Once it starts attacking organs, like your heart, liver, kidneys, brain, not standard muscle, you will die very quickly. This is how anorexia kills; you starve to death. Your body will scavenge as much as it can from your fat and tissues, but at some point there won't be any more left. Multiple organs will fail for lack of sustenance, including the heart Do you realise you could go asleep tonight and not wake up again? what is it going to take for you to care enough to save yourself? Call a ambulance, dr. or someone to drive you to the doc or hospital.

Please trust me,  I am a recovered anorexic and now a Dr., you are in serious, urgent need of emergency attention.

i think you are very rude i beg to believe you have had an anorexia if that the sort of comments you throw at people  i was after support not big ignorance from you i have you know ive come along way i know the dangers and that wasnt helpful

thanks for making my day even harder than its been

Oh wow, I remember you spek...I used to be Dollymixtures. You are making steps in the right direction, you are a fighter I know it, but your weight is so low...you need to seriously keep trying to recover and nourish your deprived body :/ I really hope you're okay :(( *hugs*

Guys, this thread is 1.5 years old and spek's account is no longer active. I am locking this thread but please feel free to start a new one to continue the discussion.
