How would I know if I am developing a eating disorder?

OK, lately, I have been counting calories on everything I eat. And yesterday this is what I ate, Breakfast: nothing, Lunch: nothing, Snack: cheese and onion crisps with a glass of water. Then my dad took us out, and my family had full plates, but all I had was 2 potatoes, 1 stuffing ball, 1 Yorkshire, 2 slices of turkey, and 1 glass of coke. What do u think? AM I starting an eating disorder? Is this unhealthy? (btw I am only 13)
Answer
Take the EAT-26, a classic screening test, to discover if you screen positively for an eating disorder. If you do, you should visit your doctor sooner rather than later. Presently, your weight is in the healthy range for your height and age, and so you should not be trying to lose any weight. You are making unhealthy food choices in your attempt to diet hard. You need to eat 1800 calories a day for normal development and good health. Read a blog about plannig a balanced diet with 1800 calories and exercise (walk, bike, dance, tennis, team sports, etc.) for 60 minutes everyday. Don't rely on your judgment right now because you need to learn. Just eat 1800 calories.

Figure out what type of eater you are and you might just find the answer to permanent weight loss.
Take the Diet Profile Test and learn to avoid the pitfalls and self-sabotage that often come with your personal profile.
