Hello, my name is Christina, and here's a bit about me. =)

Getting to Know You:

1. Do you have a nickname?  Does Chris count?  It's really just a shortened version of my name.

2. What State do you live in? Tennesee.

3. What is your favorite color?  I have a lot, but my tops would be midnight blue, emerald green and crimson.

4. What kind of pets do you have? A cat and a dog.

5. What kind of music do you like listening too? Christian, rock, indie and classical.

6. What kind of vehicle do you have or drive? I drive my Mom's Mitsubishi.

7. What is your favorite store you like to shop in? T.J. Max, Wal-mart or one of the neat antique stores around town.

8. Name something you are not?  Cruel.

9. Where is your favorite place to eat?  The sand-which shop in town, or the China Buffet. =P

10. What favorite place would you like to be at right now?  New Orleans.

11. What is your favorite drink?  Crystal lite, raspberry lemonade.

12. What is one of your hobbies?  Drawing.

13. Do you have a favorite book or author?  I have tons of favorite books and authors. =D

14. When did you accept Christ as your personal savior?  Well, I was raised a Christian, but I've really started to serve him on my own in the last 5-6 years.

15. What is one of your favorite Bible Stories?  The story of Rahab.

16. What is one of your favorite Books of the Bible? Revelations.

18. What is one of your favorite songs or hymn?  Jesus Freak -- DC Talk.

Hey, glad to find this group!

1.    Do you have a nickname? Just use my first name, Russell.

2.    What State do you live in? None, I live in western Canada

3.    What is your favorite color? Don't have one, but I wear blacks and blues mostly. Supposedly green really brings out my eyes.

4.    What kind of pets do you have? When I lived with my parents, we had a dog and a cat. Now I have no pets. Don't have the time or space to keep one.

5.    What kind of music do you like listening too? I listen to industrial, metal, instrumental, and rock.

6.    What kind of vehicle do you have or drive? I drive a 1992 Toyota Camry. It has 394000 kilometers on it (246250 miles)

7.    What is your favorite store you like to shop in? P&D Enterprises - a gun shop downtown.

8.    Name something you are not? Liberal

9.    Where is your favorite place to eat? I really like chinese food. Sweet and Sour makes me happy. None of the places are restaurant chains though, all privately owned chinese restaurants.

10. What favorite place would you like to be at right now? Mozambique, Africa. I grew up there, it's home.

11. What is your favorite drink? Classic Coke, in a glass bottle. Since losing weight? Coffee.

12. What is one of your hobbies? Scuba Diving

13. Do you have a favorite book or author? Nope, I enjoy various authors and books.

14. When did you accept Christ as your personal savior? I was told it was when I was 4. I've since recommitted my life on several occasions.

15. What is one of your favorite Bible Stories? Samson. I'm not sure why.

19. Do you miss somebody in your life? My parents. They're missionaries across the world in Mozambique.

20. When was the last time you cried? I don't remember, but within the past month. The last half year has felt pretty rough.

 Hey Russell - welcome - I too am a Classic Coke in the bottle fan - but have been slowly trying to wean off my 10-12 cans a day to an occasional 8 oz. can - water and green tea is what I drink mostly.  ~ Norma Jean

Well, I like Coke Zero, but per cup, coffee is just cheaper, and I'm a university student on a budget, heh.

I just wanted to say welcome to CC and more importantly welcome to I Can Do All Things Through Christ Which Strengthens me. 

You have come to a wonderful place for spiritual food and encouragement to help with your physical desires and goals to achieve.  The ladies here are wonderful and full of God's wisdom to encourage your spirit so you can reach and keep your goal.  After all, we are told to "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all its righteousness and everything else you need will be added unto you"  including whatever goal you are here to achieve.

I am speaking as a witness to you all the through Christ you can reach your goal with patience and determination.  We are told also in God's word to be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.  So press on regardless of your short falls, God will give you strength. 

I have used the tools on this site and come here to be fed spiritually and have lost a total of 82 lbs since the beginning of May this year, and have been keeping it off, so if I can be of some assistance here I am.  I would not have been able to do it without putting God first in all things, which is what I am suggesting to you all.

May God Bless you in this journey and keep you in perfect peace as you travel.

i really fancy gift shops.  i also really like going into stores that sell gadgets (e.g. laptops, .mp3 players, graphic tablets...)

right where I am--home.

man, how do you choose just one? well, one that comes to mind right now is the story of the life of the prophet of Daniel. i loved his dedication to God in prayer.
