How do I know if I'm eating the right food?
Asked by brooklyndiva on Jun 18, 2009 in Nutrition

When do you know that your food is the right type and amount?  How much food should you be eating???

Answer

Go to My Pyramid, the website of the USDA, to learn about the types of food that make up a balanced diet as well as the servings you need from each food group at your calorie level.  Read about how to plan a simple diet at the Calorie Count blogs.  Then, when you keep daily food logs, you will get direct feedback in the Nutrition Report analysis.  Tweak your diet over time to work with your food preferences and lifestyle.
