but I am still unsure of my settings. What do you think my activity level would be knowing that I am:

-a graduate student working from home

-a part time teacher in a jr. high school

-taking the dog on two 15 minute walks per day/minimum

-doing moderate workouts 3 times per week (some cardio and NROLFW)

My current stats are: 5'6", 26 y/o, CW: 150lbs, GW: 140 lbs.

Thanks for your help!

Sounds lightly active to me.

Try using this too:

It helped me

Actually, I would say moderately active.

If you put lightly active, then I would add the workouts separately.

Personally I would go with this:

Light Activity

  • At work - you walk a lot
  • At home - you keep yourself busy and move a lot
  • Exercise - you participate in light exercise or take long walks

Edit:  If you had described your workouts as vigorous I would have gone with Moderate.  You didn't say how long they were either.

My workouts vary. I usually do 15-20 minutes of HIIT and then 20-30 minutes of strength training... but on days when I'm feeling motivated I may just do some cardio for 45 minutes.
